Hendra Holiday Park

Hendra welcome camping and touring guests with pets into their Pine, Tamarisk, Fairway, Acorn and Chestnut fields, allowing up to two dogs per booking. Pets are not allowed in pods.

Dogs must be kept on leads while on the park and, as a family park, breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.

Pets are not allowed into entertainment venues, restaurants (other than outside at the Terrace Restaurant) or the swimming pool complex. however, there is a dog walking area on site.

Off site, there are plenty of dog friendly beaches, pubs and visitor attractions nearby.

Check-in is available between noon and 8pm at Hendra Holiday Park. Departure is due before 10am on your last day. If you are going to be arriving after 8pm, please let the the site know. Only arrivals before 9pm will be allowed to pitch, if you arrive after this time, you will need to go to the car park area or holding field until reception opens the following day.

Yes, BBQs are welcome at Hendra Holiday Park as long as they are raised above the ground. Fire pits are also welcome, just be sure to keep them raised, under 0.5m wide, at least 3m from tents or structures and out by 11pm. Please also never leave the fire unattended, only burn wood or charcoal and dispose of cooled ash in the metal bins.

Yes, Hendra Holiday Park operates a quiet policy after 10pm.

You are able to arrive at Hendra Holiday Park from 8am on your arrival day to collect your membership and pool passes and you are able to use the facilities onsite until your pitch or pod is ready from midday. Check out is 10am but you are welcome to use the facilities until 2pm on the day of your departure.

Sorry, awnings, pup tents and gazebos are not allowed at Hendra Holiday Park.

Yes, in most cases, one vehicle can be parked next to your pitch. There are some cases where this isn't possible so you will be able to park in one of the car parks around the site. Please make a note when making your booking that you'll be bringing a car so the site are aware.

The indoor Oasis Fun Pools at Hendra Holiday Park are one of the park's highlights. Open from late March each year, there are two fantastic pools (indoor and outdoor) as well as a rapid river ride, three flumes, a gentle fun slide, water cannon and more.

The outdoor complex is free of charge for all holiday park guests with entertainment passes, while a charge of £4.35 per session applies to the indoor pool. If you plan to use the pool a lot, you can save money by purchasing blocks of passes in advance.

The outdoor pool is open from May until September and heated between the spring bank holiday and August bank holiday.

Height restrictions apply to some rides and flumes.
