Amazing

Me and my partner absolutely loved this campsite. The facilities were so clean and we really enjoyed our stay. And can't wait to come back in the season and when the bar reopens. Would recommend highly.

Very clean site with friendly staff

There is a small shop and bar serving food onsite, which always helps a review. Plenty of beaches to choose from, mostly only around 10 minutes drive away.

Lovely site

Lovely, peaceful location, easy access to beaches. Everything you need on site, good value for money. The only downside was that the ladies shower block and toilets did not appear to be cleaned regularly enough. There was grass and rubbish on the floor that stayed there throughout our stay and neither of the two hair dryers in there worked either. Other than that, it was really good.

Lovely campsite

The staff were amazing and the grounds were kept lovely. The bar was tired and there's nothing to do on the site on a rainy day if you're stuck in your tent but I understand they are getting a new multi million pound club house, which would make a huge difference.

Great location and great site

Easy check in, nice bar and showers. Quiet and kid friendly. Can't wait to go again.

Wet and muddy

Our pitch was so flooded, it turned into a swamp. We had to leave 4 days early, as we couldn't sit outside the tent without being covered in mud. The pitch shouldn't have been given to us in that state. The bathrooms were muddy and the toilets were blocked with paper. Would be fine if it was dry, but I wouldn't recommend if there's a chance of rain.

Good holiday despite the weather

Had a good holiday despite the weather conditions! Drainage on pitches could be better to deal with the rain. Hardstanding pitches didn't drain away water at all so the awning floor was always wet. Equally pitches not quite big enough for twin axle caravans and a car. Other than that, facilities and staff are good and they were welcoming and helpful on reception. The food in the bar was good too.

Fantastic campsite

First time at Atlantic Bays and we would highly recommend it. Perfectly placed to visit the seven bays and the surrounding areas.Spotless facilities and the peace and quiet of a relaxing campsite with friendly staff. Will definitely be booking again.

Great site

Site was clean, tidy and peaceful with friendly staff. The only problem was the clubhouse/restaurant was only open for 4 nights of the week.

Excellent stay

Really clean showers and toilet block. Very clean, lovely quiet site. Had a nice time. Clean amenities, plenty of room and a nice location.

Ok but not amazing

The location was great but many things need improvement. The tents were on top of each other, maybe 2-3 m away, the bathroom was not cleaned very often and the rubbish bins were overflowing. The pub was nice and well as the playground.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, pitches are regulated yearly for health and safety standards and pass. It does depend though on if everyone in the row brings the maximum size tent or not. The bins are on a regulated collection but I admit on occasion this season we noticed the front bins were overflowing but the rear bins were still empty. We take all comments on board for future improvements. We hope you enjoyed your stay and hopefully we will see you again in the future.

Excellent location

Everything brilliant- the only disappointment was no toilet/ shower block in the camping field, we had to use the one for the caravan pitches.

Great place to stay, with friendly and helpful staff

Absolutely loved our stay with Atlantic Bays, can't fault anything other than the shower block and toilets. There were a few times the toilets were out of toilet roll and hadn't been cleaned at all. Otherwise a fantastic stay.

Great site, great staff and would 100% recommend

On arrival at the park, the receptionist was more than happy to help. We checked in with minimum of fuss. One to watch out for when siting your pitch is that the numbers on the electric points are different to the number on the site map, so double check you're in the right place before setting up . The facilities were really clean, they were completely fit for purpose with nothing broken, which is nice to see that this site is really well maintained. My only bad point which the site cannot do anything about, is that it is right next to a main road so can get noise on an evening, if you are trying to get an early night. You would only notice this if staying on the actual camping pitches, not in the statics. But it wasn't like a motorway, so didn't distract us too much . The clubhouse is great and serves a pint for a reasonable price, which was nice! The staff were so friendly there. The food is good value as well. Overall we had a lovely time at Atlantic Bay and will defo return in the future. It was the break we needed and Atlantic Bay didn't disappoint !

Short notice weekend break when we had no van

Very clean facilities, polite and informative team. Cabin served the overnight stay well with a comfy quiet bed. Actually quite spacious. Simple and well priced. Would recommended and use again.

Great site

When we arrived, we were met at reception by a really friendly and helpful young lady then unlike other sites we have been on, we were taken to our pitch by the warden who made sure we knew where everything was, toilets club etc, what was part of our pitch where the water/ waste etc was. The pitch was level and the grounds immaculately kept. The toilet/showers were immaculately clean, probably the cleanest of any site we have ever stayed on. Can highly recommend the food in the restaurant we ate there 3 times and had 3 great meals the steak and ale pie was awesome. Highly recommended, and will definitetly return next year.

Lovely site with great facilities and delightful staff

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, first time staying in Cornwall and it did not disappoint. The location of the site was perfect, close to a number of bays and 10 minutes or so out of Padstow centre, a perfect quaint spot! The site was lovely, we had plenty of space on our plot, everything it needed it to be! One tiny criticism was we were quite far from the toilet block, still close enough but it was just a bit faffy. Aside from that, the toilets and showers were always spotless! The staff were so lovely, couldn't do enough for us, very polite and pleasant, and the shop was very handy too! Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would definitely return! We loved Padstow and travelling around Cornwall!

Would recommend

Good facilities. Clean and tidy pitches. Pitches not crammed on top of each other. Showers were a bit cold if you had one in the evening time. Would recommend.

My stay

Campsite was nice and staff were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother. I was in an area that was a long way from the toilet and shower block. I think they need one closer to that field as it holds a lot of tents. Also noise from road in morning is not good.

Our first time staying here

Staff were friendly on arrival and showed us to our pitch. Shower block was very clean, although it was quite a trek from where we were camping. The restaurant and entertainment buildings do seem very dated and could do with an update. We had a lovely holiday and was easy access to Padstow and other areas around to explore.

Our stay, Aug 2022

We really enjoyed our stay at Atlantic Bays, the staff were really nice and friendly, the park was great for the kids, the shop was well stocked and very reasonably priced. The bar was great, busy in the evenings, the food was nice but the menu choice could be better. Maybe jacket potatoes or toasties, or some healthier choices. Overall I would recommend and enjoyed our visit.
