About Tresco Farm Campsite

Perched on the edge of the seaside village of Saint Merryn, this small farm campsite is just two miles from the Cornwall coast! The site welcomes families and dogs, offering easy access to coastal footpaths and lovely old pubs that can all be reached with a ten minute walk. With Padstow and pristine Cornish beaches just a ten minute drive away, you can uncover secluded coves or take part in many watersport activities at Harlyn Bay. Pitch your tent on an open, welcoming field. The site has all the charm of wild camping but with all the basic facilities you need nearby. Unfurnished bell tents are also on offer to save the hassle of bringing the tent. Just don't forget to bring your bedding and camping equipment. Dogs are welcome, making this site a joy for every family member.

The site is open from 24th May to 2nd June, 22nd July to 31st August and 2nd September to 9th September.


Facilities and amenities

There is a communal facility block with four toilets and sinks and two showers. There are two water taps, one in the facility block and one in the utilities shed, also in the shed is a communal fridge, freezer, microwave, sink, kettle and phone charging.

The site is just a ten minute walk to St Merryn Stores to pick up any supplies and for those who do not want to cook there is a village pub also just a ten minute walk away.

FAQ

Guests may check in from 10am until 9pm for camping, and 2pm until 9pm for glamping. Check out is due at noon for camping and 11am for glamping stays.

Dogs are allowed for camping stays, unfortunately no dogs in the glamping units, sorry. The site does not accept breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Yes, campfires are permitted in raised fire pits and BBQs must be raised from the ground.

Yes, you can add awnings, gazebos and pup tents to your booking. Please note, pup tents must only be used for storage and must fit within your pitch.


Adventure seekers, shoreline lovers and walkers will enjoy the site. It's just a five minute drive away from the nearest sandy beach at Contantine Bay and 10 minutes away from an array of other sheltered coves and dunes, perfect for paddleboarding and coasteering.

For those who enjoy walks, it's around a 45 minute walk to Harlyn Bay (or a 10 minute drive). This sandy spot had kayaking and paddleboard hire alongside other coasteering activities and a surf school.
