Stream Valley Holiday Park is a family run and immaculately kept park with a limited number of pitches, set just a few minutes from the Cornish coastline, close to the edge of Penzance and in reach of the beach. Get comfy on pitches which offer both electric and water or head out to explore the South West - with St Ives and pretty Mousehole both within 15-25 minutes of the site.

A lovely quiet and well maintained site. Nearby shop, chip shop and pub serving decent food. Very friendly and helpful site manager. Some spaces are a little tight for first time campervan/motorhome drivers if trying to avoid the grass. Occasional odour from sewage treatment plant if in the adjacent pitch.

Such a friendly site. Shower and toilets were very clean. Mel and Tony went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. If you're looking for a friendly campsite then this is perfect, we will definitely return to stay there again.

Couldn't fault the site really and made to feel very welcome. Site was nice to stay at and not to far from the town. The toilets were clean and showers were fine. Happy to pay £1 as they were always clean and never had an issue queuing or anything like that, but would rather it was in the rate then having to take a debit card to the shower each time. And that's the only thing I could fault if I had to find one. Would visit again though.
Site's response
Thank you so much for the review. Your point on not queueing and being to the standard that they are is one of the reasons for charging. We find when people have to pay they are more respectful of it and it stops over misuse. The debit card is unfortunate but it's debatable some people prefer it as they don't have to keep thinking about change while the majority of people these days don't handle cash much. We are so glad you enjoyed your time though.

Stream Valley Holiday Park is a fantastic place to camp at. From the warm welcoming manner of the owners, who are ever so forthcoming, helpful and informative, and being lucky having nice neighbours, to the locality it being close by to amenities, Land's End, The Minack Theatre and beach. The bathrooms are nice, clean and organised and you even get your own water supply at your pitch. That is a great service, indeed. Definitely a place we would stay at again. Thank you so much!

The site is brilliantly located for exploring the area, and there are so many sights to see. The campsite is small and well maintained, the facilities were always spotless and Mel and Tony were welcoming and helpful during our stay.

It is a lovely location and the size could be described as boutique but for the cost I would have expected more from the facilities. By this I mean more than one shower and two toilets. I wouldn't mind the additional £1 for each shower if the showers were more than a trickle. The 'dos and don'ts' notices are also a little passive aggressive. The site staff were really nice and made us feel very welcome.

Lovely, clean and well-kept site with nice-sized pitches. Showers and washing machines use the very modern 'touchpad' payment method so you don't need a pocket full of coins! Only a 20-minute easy walk to town or you can get a local bus (number 19 I think). A local Costcutter shop nearby and a fabulous fish and chip shop too. The Sportsman pub is also just a short walk away and serves good beer and good food too.

We have had such an amazing time here at Stream Valley in Penzance. The site was clean and immaculate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking to get away. The staff were very polite and very helpful. I shall be using this site again when we want to come to Cornwall. Well worth the money we paid!

Superb site, spotless facilities, only 19 pitches so nice and quiet. Convenience store, chip shop, pasty and cake shop all within a couple of minutes walk, plus pub with beer gardens.

Although the facilities were good, I wouldn't recommend this place. We were due to check in at 6pm and we received a call from them at 5pm saying if we don't reach there before 6pm, then they would not open the door which made us rush. We managed to check in exactly at 6pm. I would not recommend this place, thinking of the pressure I had.

This is a very small site, it was perfect for our stay as we were down catching up with friends who live 5 minutes walk from the site. There is a small shop, pub and fish and chip shop 5 minutes walk into the village. Quite a walk into Penzance but buses are frequent and cheap. The site itself is small, only 2 ladies toilets and one shower and only one toilet and shower in the men's. You have to pay £1 for the shower and you pay it by card. It wasn't busy when we went but when busy you maybe queuing for facilities. Quiet and peaceful site with a very helpful site manager.

We had a very pleasant stay at this campsite. Good size spaces, very clean and safe area. Tony couldn't do enough for us- from saying I could put my bike in his shed for security, to offering to pick us up from Penzance if we couldn't get transport back. Highly recommend this site.

This was a nice, quiet, cosy, small site. It was well located to visit Penzance and also for easy road links to other attractions. Site was clean and tidy and very welcoming. In high season, the toilet blocks may struggle as only 1 shower per gender and only 1 toilet cubicle in the gents. My only negative comment was that the showers were disappointing, both in terms of water pressure and having to pay extra on top of a high-ish nightly rate. However, yes I would stay again.
Site's response
Hi Thank you for your comments. We are so happy that on the whole, you enjoyed our site and your stay. Just for your information, the pressure is adjustable on both the shower and the showerhead, it is usually the case that it has been adjusted by the previous occupant and not been turned back up. Thank you for the review, we hope to see you soon at Stream Valley

A lovely small site. The sat-nav gets you there but tells you it's on the opposite side of the road and as we arrived in the dark, it took us a bit longer to find than we expected. Otherwise, the owners were lovely and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again and recommend to all.

The wardens were really lovely and relaxed people. They gave us plenty of useful local information and even helped us manoeuvre the caravan. The site was immaculate and the facilities were good. It’s in a lovely remote and quiet location. We’ll definitely be back!

Very small, compact but attractive site.. Too soggy to use a grass pitch, but hard pitch available with grass at back for our GoPod awning. Peaceful night's sleep.

We needed an out-of-season site for a break in West Cornwall and found this. It's small-ish, peaceful and was well situated for our purposes. Clean, tidy and friendly. Grass pitches were struggling a bit after recent heavy rains but then most of the UK did. I guess if you had to be picky, it would be more suitable for couples with smaller tourers rather than big families and big tents but we couldn't fault it. Some of the reviews are obviously by people who have never camped before and expect everything to be perfect like a holiday resort. Well, 'hello!' This is a different thing - enjoy it rather than complain. We shall certainly be back (probably out of season again) and look forward to it. Thank you for having us.
