Great location and smart pod

Great location and very smart pod. Everything we needed was there and the hot tub was a real treat.

2 night stay

Wonderful place to stay to explore the lakes or to just relax. Hot tub is great and bed is very comfortable. Not too far from walks and there is a shop nearby in Coniston, which was ideal. Host was helpful and greeted on arrival. The only issue we had was the fire alarm when using the induction hob but if doors left open, all was fine! Also the microwave/oven is also best just used as a microwave as we couldn't get a good result cooking 'oven' food, such as pizza. However, for a glamping pod in the lakes, it was more than good enough. I'd recommend just taking microwave meals or sausages etc to cook in the frying pan.

Amazing

Very lovely owner, the pod was spotless. Was left a nice complimentary pack, and hot-tub was heated upon our arrival. If we needed anything, we were able to message the owner. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely pod

Lovely camping pod with everything you need for a quiet break. Ideal if you like walking and hiking.

Couldn’t recommend more!

Gorgeous pod in a quiet location. Mark was brilliant and had the hot tub ready for when we arrived, he recommended walks and pubs for us to visit and couldn't have done any more for us. The pod was so well equipped and warm (one thing we were a little worried about) with lots of nice touches like robes and treats, they really did think of it all. The only downside is Coniston (the nearest village) is on the small side, but luckily you have loads of other places in the area to explore! The pub across the road had the most delicious rustic pub food, so I would definitely also recommend there! :) Worth booking for a lovely little getaway!

Fantastic place!

A beautiful Glamping pod along with the hot tub. The pod looks even bigger in person! Was welcomed by a lovely woman who left us with a nice bottle of wine, biscuits and 2x boxes of cereal for the morning. A lovely quiet area with friendly people. Also recommend the pub called The Wilson across the road for a nice pint and meal. Only a 7 minute drive to Coniston, which is a lovely village. Will definitely be returning!

Weekend stay

I would 100% recommend the Church House Inn. I took my partner for the weekend for his birthday and was absolutely beautiful. Mark the owner was very attentive, heated the hot tub for our arrival and supplied us with a lovely complimentary pack. Beautiful.

Amazing stay

Just returned from an amazing 2 night stay, couldn't fault anything would definitely recommend.

Escape to the country

Beautiful and well maintained glamping pod with a hot tub. Mark was very welcoming and helpful. We took our little dog who loved running around in the fields.

Perfect getaway!

Had a lovely stay in the glamping pod, perfect location and the host was super accommodating! Great price for what you get with lovely views and nearby walks. The dressing gowns were a nice touch for when you're using the hot tub, as were the welcome biscuits, wine, mint cake and more! I would definitely recommend the restaurant Steam just around the corner- amazing food!

Great stay!!

Mark is a wonderful guy and very caring! On arrival the hot tub was lit, which was a lovely touch. He also gave us some locations on where we could eat out if we wanted, however you could use the facilities in the pod if you wanted to stay in. The place was absolutely spotless and very well looked after, it's 10 mins from Coniston which is beautiful! Highly recommend if you fancy a nice weekend away, thank you Mark for making our stay so lovely.

Great stay!

Great stay. Place was very clean and exactly as shown. On arrival, Mark told us everything we needed to know about the pod and hot tub, also gave some great recommendations for where to go - very helpful! The location was great, easy access to Coniston and only 20 mins to Ambleside and Ulverston.

Birthday break

We had a lovely weekend in the lakes and the Church House was a great base for exploring. The pod was well equipped we had a free bottle of wine on arrival. There were lots of tea coffee, milk etc too. The pod was clean and warm. The hot tub was lovely esp after a full days walking. Would definitely recommend

Glamping pod

Absolutely couldn't recommend the glamping pod highly enough. Everything was inside ready. Pet friendly, hot tub was great to relax in and lovely and quiet. Fantastic few days away. Close to lots of different walks, village is quiet, but Coniston is a 5 minute drive one way. Broughton- in-Furness is about a 10 min drive. The other Mark is superb, really down to earth and a top fella. Great little site.

Beautifully clean, oustanding location and site manager couldn't do enough for us

Outstanding welcome pack, plus a bottle of wine. Hot tub was amazing. Site manager couldn't do enough for us, they were brilliant, polite and very friendly. Location was outstanding. 10 out 10, will be going back soon.

Highly recommended!

My daughter, dog and I stayed here for 2 nights. It was very clean, comfortable and cosy. It had all the bits and pieces you need, bedding, loo roll, cultery etc. There was milk in the fridge, logs for the hottub and even a bottle of vino too. The host was welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay

Lovely stay. Pod was amazing. Spent one of the nights on my own until my husband could join me. Wouldn't bother with tv otherwise but it didn't work due to connection. Could possibly need some plastic glasses for use in the hot tub. This is just my opinion but otherwise I couldn't fault the place.

Lovely place

Excellent place to stay with an attentive host. Hot tub cleaned and filled with fresh water before arrival, along with the heating process started and additional logs provided. Complimentary wine on arrival and close to many good hiking trails. Would definitely stay again.

Family stay

We love our stay at the Church House Inn. We enjoyed a nice family break in this cute little pod. The hot tub was fantastic when the children were in bed, though they enjoyed their time in it as well. The pod was spotless and the bed and quilts were very comfy. The location is brilliant to explore the area and our host was very attentive to our needs. We really loved our time there.

Lovely, quiet location

Great spot in corner of site with trees on 2 sides for shelter. A quiet site as there is only room for about 6 campervans/ caravans and is located directly behind the pub which is currently closed, so no noise. On arrival, the hot tub was already on, plenty of wood supplied and it worked really well. Owner is very helpful. Coffee and deli very close and only 5 min from Coniston if needed. Very clean inside.

Glamping pod

Just spent a few days in this cool little pod, it is kept to a high standard and very clean. We arrived to a welcome package, fresh towels and dressing gowns and milk in the fridge. Mark the host was brilliant and very accomodating, he talked us through the hot tub which he had preheated for our first night and he kept the wood topped up for us if we ran out. The pod is in a peaceful and quiet area with a short drive into Coniston town. 100% will be recommended to friends and family! Hope to go back and stay again.

Great place to stay

Mark our host was fantastic and was at hand to offer any local knowledge, or help with anything we may need with the pod and facilities. The hot tub was great and very relaxing. The extra touches and wine on arrival were unexpected and appreciated. A beautiful spot, with great facilities, a lovely quiet site and a pleasure to stay. Would recommend to anyone considering staying.
