We were greeted by Howard on arrival, who showed us the facilities such as the drying room, a place where we can buy wood and charcoal for the fire pit, and a feeder where we could help ourselves to ice. He then walked us to our pod and explained how the heating system worked etc and gave us some local recommendations for pubs, taxis companies etc. The pod we stayed in had absolutely everything we needed and more, we had some complimentary tea bags, coffee and some fresh crumpets were on the bench on our arrival with some miniature jams and butter in the fridge as well as a little bottle of milk. The pod was extremely clean and had some lovely décor, a big double bed with some extra bedding underneath if we needed it. The pod came with a smart TV too, which was nice. The bathroom was actually a lot bigger than expected too, with a fairly big shower cubicle in it Will 100% be returning to this site, absolutely exceptional service and value for money.

Absolutely perfect. The attention to detail Carol and Howard apply to ensure you have the perfect break is obvious from the second you arrive. The pods are well equipped, immaculately clean and have everything you could possibly wish for. Stunning views simply add to the overall experience. Too many additional little touches to list them all. Safe to say you won't be disappointed if paying this place a visit. We were with two other family members who equally enjoyed the experience. Our first glamping break, but it certainly won't be the last.

The hosts, Carol and Howard, are so friendly and professional in their whole approach to this wonderful boutique dedicated glamping site; think Radisson Blue meets glamping. The pods are high tech and use state of the art construction including internal equipment and facilities. You will want for nothing. The site is exquisitely located and quiet - very relaxing. Plenty of space for two with every convenience you will need.

Had a great time staying at Damson view glamping. The hosts are warm and welcoming. The site is perfectly landscaped. Good pubs and fine dining spots nearby, perfect for a date night. Barbeque equipment available on request. I would recommend having a car so you can explore the towns and Lake District tourist attractions.

We had a lovely stay, the pods are luxurious, well equipped and the hosts couldn’t have done more to improve our stay. They gave us great advice on local walking. We’ll definitely rebook in the future.

Amazing location 20 minutes drive from Windermere. The pods were very clean and had everything needed for the weekend. Howard and Carole were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. The big plus for these pods are the BBQ/fire pits which come with everything you need apart from the food itself! Would definitely recommend this to friends/family and we'll be coming again in the future!

Absolutely gorgeous, perfect pods for a few nights away! In the most perfect location and owners are very lovely. Supplies from everything to logs for a fire, maps, camping tools, just what you need. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pod to stay at just out of Windermere! Will definitely be staying again.

What a fantastic place for a little holiday in the countryside. We booked Damson View Glamping last minute for a two night stay, and we were left wanting to stay longer! The facilities are great. Everything is incredibly clean and you have everything you need. The views are incredible and as there’s very little light pollution, it’s great for stargazing. Carole and Howard were incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts, which made our stay even more fantastic. We will certainly be coming back!

Have loved every minute of it! Had a lovely welcoming, and was shown where things are. The hosts have been kind & attentive. The pod was clean, tidy and had all the necessities needed. Not that we needed it much, but the pod had fast Wi-Fi. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and we will definitely be coming back again soon. Within walking /driving distances of most attractions. Fabulous restaurants just around the corner. Couldn't fault the experience at all. Would highly recommend.

All staff were very friendly, the pod was immaculate when we arrived, great facilities including barbecues on site. Close to Lake Windermere, so location is spot on. Would definitely stay here again 👍🏼

We stayed for a couple of nights, the pod it's self is lovely! It has everything you need & extras are provided if needed. It has lots of sockets and USB sockets for chargers! Bed is comfy and a lovely bathroom. There is a firepit/BBQ which comes with the pod and you can borrow equipment if needed. Location is amazing, peaceful and quiet yet only a 15 minute drive to Windermere. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back soon!

The owners are the friendliest people you could hope for and they really have thought of everything. From laying out maps for walking routes straight from the door step, to fire pits to kitchen essentials, bread & butter. The whole thing was perfect. It was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and there was absolute silence at night-time, which meant we had the best sleep of our lives, ready to get up and get hiking. I had booked this as a gift for my parents, so they stayed in the dog friendly pod, along with their dog Rolo, whilst me and my husband had the pod at the top of the bank and all of us just had a lovely, relaxing time.

I booked last minute for 2 nights for a little break away. The pods are unreal, very comfortable and have everything you could possibly need. The views are amazing. Everything you need they provide for, cooking or making fires/bbq etc. very clean very comfortable and all round very very good. This was my first time and it will most definitely not be my last. 10/15 min drive from Windermere as well. I stayed there on my own but would be great for couples also.

We stayed at Damson View for two nights. It was warm, cosy and much larger than anticipated. Everything we needed was provided for. The surroundings were incredible, and it was peaceful and calm. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Stayed here with my boyfriend for a couple of nights, the pods were absolutely lovely, so clean and well equipped and in a lovely peaceful and quiet location. Plenty of wood/charcoal/bbq equipment to purchase on site and even marshmallows. We had a lovely fire pit one night as well! Even had maps marked out to borrow for a walk in the area. Exactly what I was looking for in a stay, would not hesitate to go back for another stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a few nights away!
