Harbour Lights is located just outside the village of Haverigg on the south-western tip of the Lake District National Park. There are non electric grass pitches as well as electric gravel and hardstanding pitches, perfect for campers and tourers alike. Or opt for a camping or glamping pod for something a little easier. An idyllic spot for relaxing, a two minute walk from Haverigg Beach.

Lovely park for our first outing in a motorhome, turned up late and they were still happy to let us in. We also had issues with tripping the power and they offered for us to stay longer in the day to charge.

The toilet facilities and showers were so clean. The shower was really warm. The host was very friendly and sorted our pitch as the rain was terrible. They sorted us a safe pitch. Would definitely recommend.

Located in a beautiful part of the Cumbrian coast, the beach did not disappoint. Great for dog walking. Excellent opportunities for twitchers to spot many species of sea birds. Also, fantastic photography opportunities. Fantastic family washroom facilities. There is a great little ice-cream parlour too. Downside, the main lane leading to the site was closed as work was being carried out and so the only access to it was down a lane full of very deep pot holes, which wasn't great. On site there are only two drinking water points located together (but sinks provide fresh drinking water), I was unable to find the recycling facilities and there was no WiFi. Reception wasn't open when we arrived at 12pm and so had to ring the number on the door and we were then attended to in a timely manner. All that said, it is set in a stunning location and has fantastic family washrooms which is great for families with young children. We would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Hard to judge as it was quite quiet due to weather and time of year. "Ski" bar and restaurant down the road were nice, and good that dogs are accepted. Only fault in our opinion was that the site was very dark at night, as was the driveway up to the site, as we had to walk the dog and had to take torch with us!

Even with our late arrival, the owners were very helpful. Shower block is the best we have ever experienced. Warm, clean shower with large sink and toilet all in one private room and there were loads of these rooms available.

For a nice quiet break we’ll worth visiting. Not much to do other than walk the dogs which was pleasant. Good clean facilities, shower and toilet block very spacious, warm and clean. Next door had a good water activity lake. Staff accommodating and there to help.

We had a wonderful stay at Harbour Lights with very friendly and courteous staff, that really looked after us. Over the weekend there was a wonderful offer of waffles, ice cream and pizza (also vegan :)). The facilities are huge, warm and really clean! The pitches are nice, large enough and quiet, the campsite is directly opposite the sea.
