Absolutely stunning campsite with views, very clean, toilets and shower on site are the best ones I've seen cleanliness wise! On site fridge and freezer which is ideal for longer stays, owners were lovely and accommodating checked in with us a couple of times over the five days we stayed! We will definitely be back!

We arrived later then planned but once we arrived, we were met by friendly staff. The shop was closed at the time but they were happy to open and let us pick up bits, which was helpful after a long drive. Our pitch was lovely, plenty of space as we had a 8 man tent, views of the cows and lambs. Facilities were clean and tidy, easy to find, showers were hot and plenty of space. The little woodland fairy walk was nice for the children, very dog friendly. As mentioned, staff were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our tent and asked to move pitch as the cross winds were too strong. It was forecast but tent wasn't up to the challenge. They were happy to help. Would definitely book again.

Excellent facilities, beautiful sunsets, spacious and peaceful location, super helpful & friendly staff. It’s a bit further out if you are planning on hiking in the Lake District but well worth the extra drive time.

Such a warm welcome when we arrived, taking us to our pitch and explaining everything about the site. A pitch with a private hot tub in a little garden area ! Just wonderful. Good, clean facilities too.

Currently on our way home from one of the best camping sites we've been to. Wallace Lane Farm just took it to the next level. We couldn't fault the site, staff or services. Absolutely beautiful site in a picturesque part of the lakes. Cannot wait to rebook and come back.

Best campsite I've ever stayed at. Friendly staff, toilets and shower block are immaculately clean, hot showers that you don't have to keep pushing a button to keep on, heated towel rails. Didn't use the shop but looked really well stocked. Just perfect thank you.
Great experience.

We have just come back from our couple nights away and had fantastic time. The showers were amazing after a long walk, the toilet and shower blocks were very up-to-date, clean. In fact, I saw a cleaner in there few times during my stay, making sure they were up to high standard and was filled with loo roll, soaps ect. The grounds are well kept, clean, and tidy. The walk around the fairy garden was so cute and of course, the friendly and cute alpacas. We loved them and the shop on site had a wide range of supplies. The staff were great too, so it's definitely one we will return to. The weather was great too, along with other friendly campers. Thank you for such a lovely first experience, new to camping and not been put off - keep up the great work x

Finished up a 10 day tour of Scotland here on the way home. Lovely site, large pitch complete with hot tub (which was very much appreciated after so much driving!) the facilities were immaculate. Would have loved to have stayed longer! Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Welcoming reception gave clear instructions to find out pitch. As it was dark, someone did come on site just to check we knew which pitch to go on. Facilities for washing dishes, and the toilet and shower were all clean and warm (perfect for our young kids). Loved the extra touches of hair dryer and book shelves. Surrounding area was lovely with fairy garden for the kids to explore.

What a find! The owners and staff are unbelievably friendly and can't do enough. The site facilities were spotless. We stayed on a hardstanding for 2 nights and then took a hardstanding with a hot tub for the 3rd night. We took off walking over the weekend then got the fire pit going in the evening. The Oddfellows pub in Caldbeck 5 mile away served a fantastic Sunday lunch and again, the staff there were fantastic. The campsite has so many options available from lodges, hard standings, lots with hot tubs etc. Just a fantastic little find. Get booked in and give it a go.

My stay at Wallace lane farm was exceptional, Rob was very friendly and extremely helpful in assisting me parking my caravan as it was only my third time towing it. Thank you, Rob you are a legend.

Stayed on our first outing in a caravan. Site was a good choice, plenty of space, everything you needed on the well serviced plots. Facilities were great, warm shower rooms, plenty of hot water and kept spotlessly clean.
Great site with amazing facilities and views.

An excellent site with fantastic facilities. The staff at Wallace Lane were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us on our arrival and during our stay, when we decided we wanted a fire pit bundle. The shower and toilet blocks were kept immaculate and were always free as there's a few dotted around the site. There's also a pot wash and Laundry area which could come in handy. The site is situated close to the lovely Village of Caldbeck which is well worth a visit. We popped into Oddfellows pub there and had a lovely meal at very reasonable prices, and the staff and patrons were very friendly, especially with our two mini-dachshunds. Keswick is only 30 mins away and the drive over the tops is fantastic with amazing views over the rolling hills. Would highly recommend Wallace Lane Farm and we'll definitely be going back when the weather is a little warmer.

Great communication, the reception staff were most helpful. A good sized pitch, very clean and excellent facilities. Great value. My only concern was that despite requesting a quiet pitch, I felt it was like being on a roundabout! Ideally located close to the toilet / shower block but there was a constant flow of people past the van to use the facilities, often stopping to chat to each other. The waste disposal point was located at the back of the pitch resulting in every van / caravan stopping at the rear of my van to empty their toilet. The occupants of the caravan in front of pitch 21 walked across the grass along the right side of the van and others walked near the path to the left of the van resulting in anything other than a peaceful pitch. Despite this I would recommend the site, it's great, just don't go on pitch 21 unless you're happy with a constant stream of people walking around you!

What a lovely site and very helpful owners. Despite the heavy snow, it was great to have a location that we could still enjoy a get away to, will certainly love to return. Thank you.
