Amazing!

Beautiful yurts, every small detail thought of throughout the whole site. Very friendly and helpful owners. Loved our stay so much!

Spire View Yurts - bliss!

We had such a beautiful stay, calm, quite and re-energising. Wouldn't change a thing and couldn't ask for more. Jayne made us feel extremely welcome. Highly recommend and would love to return in the future.

Exceptional

Wow wow wow. What an absolutely amazing and beautiful location and facilities for a long weekend away. (Not to mention the absolutely delicious homemade cupcakes that greeted us on arrival!) We couldn't have been looked after better, the attention to detail was amazing and meant that we didn't want for anything during our stay. Jayne was super attentive and on hand to help out if we needed, what an amazing host. We'll be booking to return very soon as we were all sad to say goodbye on our final morning, especially to the hot tub! Thanks for such an amazing stay, by far the most relaxing break we've had in a long time 💕

Fantastic location, amazing hosts and great pizza

Jayne & Ben made our stay at Spire View Yurts an absolute dream. The yurts themselves were beautifully put together, with a spacious and comfortable bed, leading out to a beautiful vista looking into the valley. The Yurts were private enough to allow us to enjoy our stay in peace, but close enough to the facilities to ensure we weren't hiking around all day. The pizza oven was a fantastic experience and the demonstration from Jayne made it very easy to make brilliant pizzas on our first attempt. The hosts were attentive and helpful, providing us with extra firewood whenever needed. I would certainly recommend this to any of our friends or family.

Amazing place to stat

An excellent place for a holiday. We had a brilliant time staying here. Everything had been thought of. Cannot recommend highly enough

Birthday perfection!

Absolutely phenomenal. From start to finish, our last minute break for my birthday was perfect. Everything was spot on with the yurt. Extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and with a super comfy bed. Couldn't have asked for more. The bathroom was so fantastic. To have a private allocated space for use by each yurt is such a great idea, and was again spotless. The hot tub was so so so amazing, with fantastic views as it bubbled away. Fantastic pizza oven and a lovely balcony for a morning coffee or evening G&T, with the same wonderful views down to Chesterfield. An amazing, spacious shared kitchen area with plenty of room and plenty of equipment. Everything really has been thought of, such a great space in such a lovely setting. Plenty of special little extras available. Afternoon tea, s'mores box, charcuterie board, dough and sauce for the pizza oven - with it being my birthday treat break away, we tried them all, and would highly recommend! As if it couldn't get any better...you then throw in Jayne and Ben the hosts. They are fantastic, super helpful, totally lovely and cannot do more for you. Jayne is so fab, friendly and welcoming. The whole package of setting, accommodation, amenities and hosts - just totally top-notch x

Fantastic location and accommodation

Everything and more. All our requirements were met. The site and facilities were in excellent condition and had a home-from-home vibe. The hostess was fantastic - polite and relaxed. Would certainly recommend this to everyone. 10/10.

Our stay

When we arrived, we had a problem with wasps within the yurt, there were 10/15 plus. We went to speak to landlady and she responded saying we should just kill them. One of the group members was allergic so this was slightly problematic. We found more the following day. The shared kitchen was good, clean and a large space. There is one shared bathroom which is shared through all yurts at the area. We were a larger group, which meant that with the addition of other yurts there were very long waits at times. We did feel as though we were being watched, which is not ideal when trying to get a break away.

You did not mention the wasps until the second day, and unfortunately being in the countryside, there are wasps and the only solution is to kill them with the spray provided. I'm sorry I had no other solution to get rid of them. Each yurt has it's own private bathroom, this has always worked well and never been an issue. I did show you which bathroom was yours, but you used the other bathrooms, including one occupied by other guests. I had to clean the yurt and the kitchen as it was left in a mess. I can assure you you were not being watched at all. We were woken up at midnight by loud music and I had other guests to consider. I'm not sure our small, quiet Glamping site was the right place for the things you wanted to do.

Really pleased

It was our first time glamping experience. Most of the glamping we had heard of were cabins the a size of a shed and you have to use a bucket or compost loo to do your business. But I must say, this has been a great and a pleasant experience. We all as a family really really enjoyed every bit of it, apart from the weather. The Yurt has everything, wood burner to keep you warm, chest of drawer,. bunk beds, etc. There were nice, warm, white LED lights inside. The hot tub experience in the night was a good experience and we all loved every bit of it, with a bottle of wine in open under the sky. There is nothing you would feel isn't there. You get everything that you would expect in your own home, every bit of the cutlery or white goods in the kitchen, it's there for you. Lots of board games to keep you entertained fridge freezers are named according to the Yurts, so the food doesn't get mixed up. The individual bath and toilets are absolutely clean and well looked after. Certainly a luxury glamping. Jane, who is a owner of the place, is very very helpful. Will certainly go once again. Have referred to few friends about this place too.

Fantastic long weekend

We had a lovely few nights away as a family. Our children loved it, especially the hot tub. Location was very convenient, yurts and facilities were superb. Lots of thoughtful touches. We hope to stay again next year with more of our family!

Short break

We stayed two nights but wished it was longer. It was peaceful, relaxing and just what we needed. Jayne and Ben couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The yurt, kitchen and bathroom were spot on - clean and had everything we needed. The pizza supplies and the smores box were a great addition. We hope to visit again - maybe in the colder months so we can use the wood burner. Thank you!

Fabulous!

5* glamping experience, only dropped one star on location as you do need a car to get to local attractions and the nearest pubs are a 40 min walk away. The yurts are cosy n comfortable with everything you could think of and the shared kitchen space was nothing short of a home from home! It was a nice touch to have our own bathroom which was well equipped and clean. Jayne was very chatty and welcoming, clear communication via text before arrival. We ordered pizza dough and sauce and it was fun to make/ cook our own in the pizza oven. Will defo be returning xx

Glamping with the Girls

Jayne our host was very friendly & welcoming. We loved our homemade cakes and bottle of fizz, it was a lovely unexpected treat. We also ordered a Smore's box, which was perfect. The facilities couldn't be any better, it was literally home from home. We will definitely be back again and again.

Great venue for a break

Loved our stay. For a weekend break, it had everything we needed. Great facilities and spotless. The owners were welcoming but left us to it. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but only really 15 mins from a supermarket and restaurants. The Derbyshire countryside never disappoints. Truly proper glamping.

Great campsite

This is a fab location and incredible place! Very peaceful with great views. Jayne was a great host and very approachable. The facilities were amazing, excellent condition and very clean. Will be returning as soon as possible.
