Medium Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesAug 2021

This was the 2nd visit to this wonderful campsite with our 2 young children. You couldn't ask for a more perfect camping experience. The kids especially loved the large outdoor play area and could spend all day there whilst we could relax. With a noise curfew at 10pm this was also good for families. Great facilities with clean toilet block, onsite café for breakfast, mobile fish & chips and on-site shop. Also a great location for exploring the local attractions. A highly recommended campsite and we can't wait to come back again.

Large Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesAug 2021

Lovely campsite. Been previously and always have many children of different age groups, from babies to teens. Camping here is comfortable, clean and easy. They're always really friendly and the playground is just on the edge of the field which is great.

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2021

Lovely campsite. Stayed in the first field with electric which was a lot quieter which we liked. The main field was a lot busier with families/ children, so being a little away from that helped with bedtime for my 5 year old as he couldn't see the kids still playing on the park at night or early morning haha. Well maintained park and surroundings, adorable pigs! Food van was yummy for a Bacon Cob on pack away day. Lovely welcoming staff, very helpful. Only downfall for us was having to pay for the showers... putting money in then running into the cubical as it starts straight away. Also, the noise from the nearby Quarry was a little tiring after a few nights but we did know about this before booking so we're expecting it.

Medium Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

The campsite was well laid out to suit all types of campers from tents to tourers. Facilities were very good, well maintained and more than adequate. We had a problem with one of our tents which we lost due to the weather, but the management came to our rescue allowing us to use a pod which was available due to a no show. How grateful were we. Location was good for visits to the local area attractions and parks. Would definitely return and recommend.

Wonderfully place!

Medium Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

Absolutely beautiful view! Was really impressed with how clean the toilets were and how often they were cleaned and the same with the showers! We had a fire pit on the last couple of nights and it was wonderful, would go back and would definitely refiner to family and friends!

Ideal short stay
