With sweeping sea views over Exmoor, South Dean Camping is perfectly located to explore North Devon's beauty and surrounding countryside. Set up camp on the spacious unmarked pitches, set in over 10 acres of land. You'll meet a host of animals on this farm, including alpacas! It's also close to several sandy beaches (a 15-minute drive), Barnstaple (a 25-minute drive) and Woolacombe (a 30-minute drive).

The place was beautiful and the facilities clean. However, we were sold wet wood and were unable to eat because of it. It was also pretty loud with revellers singing and drinking till early morn. Great site if you want festival vibes and have your own wood!

Lovely, peaceful surroundings. Coastal path right there. Grounds well looked after. Facilities were very clean and lovely. Beautiful decorations. Also, although we didn't make use of it, a food truck came on site on Sunday. Very convenient. The only thing that we would feedback is to convert the entrance into a gravel driveway. If it had been very wet, it would have been difficult to drive in and out, as it is at the moment. Overall, it was superb. We will be coming back.

Showers and toilets etc absolutely fab for 'basic' camping. Clean and warm. Hand soap was a welcome extra! Views incredible although I imagine it gets very busy during hot periods.

Stunning location, very good communication, wish we could have stayed longer. Views over Exmoor on one side and the sea on the other.

Amazing campsite - could not fault the facilities with perfectly clean showers and actual toilets. Stunning sea views and lovely atmosphere with sheep roaming freely and rolling hills in the background. It was a misty and chilly night, but nevertheless atmospheric.

Lovely campsite really clean toilets and showers. Shame about the weather!! We had one stunning sunset only. Quite rural, but there is a Coop in Combe Martin about 15 min drive away, so stock up on supplies first.

Wonderful find! Spectacular location and views, great facilities and cute llamas. Right on the coastal path and near Hunters Inn and Heddons Mouth. Thanks so much!

The almost perfect ‘old style’ camping site. Plenty of space, spectacular views and spotless showers and loos. Well worth a visit.

Such a beautiful campsite, overlooking the Bristol Channel. Sunsets (and supermoon rises!) were incomparable. Thank you!

Warm welcome and lovely atmosphere straight away, the campsite is kept clean (toilets and showers are very good) and the views and scenery make it so relaxing and peaceful! Firepit hire is a great little extra too, we enjoyed sitting and watching the sun sets and then looking at the moon and stars next to the campfire. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to another visit in the future!

It was an amazing stay! Quiet and clean. There were not a lot of people during our stay, therefore was enough facilities. Showers are great and with hot water! Toilets were kept clean and everything what was needed was provided. Amazing view!

A really spectacular campsite at a stunning location. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Hot water for showers, dishwashing and hand basins were just an absolute bonus. I would definitely recommend this place.
