About Walnut Farm

Discover rural Devon in luxury and stay at this quiet dog and family friendly glamping site, with the local pub just an easy five minute walk away and Dartmoor National Park a 20 minute drive. There are just five domes onsite, affectionately named Beehive, Elephant's Nest, World's End, Crooked Billet and The Snooty Fox. Each one is nestled away in its own private setting so you'll have plenty of privacy. The domes sleep a maximum of four people in a king size four poster bed and optional two single futons, with all bedding provided. there's a seating area as well as a toast log fire for those colder evenings. One of the sides of the dome is clear so you can stargaze right from your bed. In an adjacent hut you'll have your own private toilet and shower, as well as kitchen space and washing up. You'll also have your own decking and grass area, complete with outdoor seating, a fire pit and BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining! Completely unwind at this peaceful Devon countryside retreat and reconnect with nature, or discover what's nearby including the Jurassic Coast, just 30 minutes away. A maximum of three dogs are allowed per dome for an additional cost, just please make sure they are kept on the lead. Additionally, there are also five grass pitches for tourers only. These are certified with the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Facilities and amenities

Each unit has its own toilet and shower facilities as well as private fire pits and kitchen spaces.

There is a pub an easy five minute walk away down Dreybury Lane, called the Junction Inn. Here you'll also find a small corner shop for basic supplies, or a 15 minute drive to Holsworthy will bring you to a Marks and Spencers, Waitrose and Co-op.

Get out and explore the countryside, the Tarka Trail is just a ten minute drive away and is the longest walking and cycling trail without traffic in the UK. Dartmoor National Park is also nearby (20 minutes) and is teeming with wildlife and plenty to see, including the free roaming Dartmoor ponies.

Fancy a day at the seaside? The iconic Jurassic Coast is a 30 minute drive away as well as lovely sandy beaches including Bude (30 minutes), Widemouth (35 minutes) and Westward Ho!.
