Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Good spot. About a 20 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk into down. Nice clean facilities for washing up/toilets/showering. No complaints!
Peace and quiet as promised

Good facilities, well kept and managed shower/ toilet block.. rules seem well respected which was pleasing.. very peaceful and quiet. less than 10 minute walk into town and about 10 to the beach.
Buses to Barnstaple/ Braunston were regular and great views from the double decker's, lovely 4 days despite the only rain of the year so far! 🤣

Our short stay in Croyde
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Quite new to camping with twin 3 years olds. Friendly welcome upon arrival.
Site is surrounded by trees and feels secluded yet is central to the beautiful village of Croyde and only a short walk from the beach. The site was quiet with a mix of surfers, couples and a few families.
Facilities are brilliant, super clean toilets and showers. Freezers, washing up area, recycling and an air pump for air beds etc. Hot drinks available at reception also.
Definitely will stay for longer next time. 5 star from us and great value to boot.
Excellent
Medium Tent - Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2025 Location is excellent, you can walk to fetch milk from the post office before your kettle boils and you won't be fully dry before you walk back from the beach.
Stu works hard and keeps a nice tidy site, and even helped us put our tent up in a strong wind lending us some heavier duty pegs than our own to help. Not a large site, so all facilities are close to hand, good toilet shower etc block that smelled new, with hand soap and washing up liquid provided. Washing up water didn't get warm, wash basins took ages to come through warm, but oddly, showers were hot more or less straight away.
Croyde area is great and we would return to this site.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Had fantastic few nights here. Lovely sheltered spot. Great facilities and very clean. Friendly helpful staff and all a ten minute walk away from the beach, so perfect!

Amazing campsite
Large Tent - Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2024 Ten minute walk to the beach, and so close to the town. Lots of surf-hire shops which was amazing! The facilities were very good and clean, there are only a few toilets and showers however it was never too busy! the campsite is quiet and in a very good location! highly recommend.

Quiet, peaceful site. Facilities ok but not enough showers, had to queue both nights to use them. But we did enjoy our stay there.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 A brilliant campsite. Owner was friendly and helpful. Safe, secure and clean. I will always stay here when I am in Croyde. Lovely views over the hills, was peaceful in the evenings.
A great, friendly, small campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jul 2024 Great little campsite it was a great location only ten mins walk to the beach, but just around the corner from the village, with so many choices on your doorstep. From vibrant pubs and restaurants and small deli's catering for everyone's needs.
The site was quite small which suited us so no queues for the showers or washing up facilities.
It was keep very clean at all times.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Really easy check in experience. Good amount of space on our pitch. The toilet, shower and washing up facilities were clean and top notch compared with other places I have camped.
Attentive staff available to answer questions etc. The site is just a 15 minute walk to the beach which was great and in proximal location to the town. All in all, a great time away. Thanks for having us!

Medium Tent - Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 Third time staying on Stuart's site and I headed down a little earlier this year, than I usually would. But, I shall be back again in early September again, as I can't say enough about this place!
Each time is a different experience, but I come away with the same thoughts and feelings on every occasion. I love this site! Stuart is always so warm and welcoming, and he remembers his guests, time after time.
The site is meticulously clean and tidy, well-equipped and within easy reach of just about anywhere you need to be, in Croyde Bay. The pitches are well-maintained, everything works as it should. Stu can often be seen walking around the site, picking up any litter etc, and always has time to stop and chat. Absolutely brilliant site. I can't recommend it enough.

Very convenient for Croyde
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Jun 2024 Great for walking into Croyde and the coastal path to Putsborough. Good space for showers and toilets, also has hairdryer and tongs.
Washing up area again, well laid out and even had washing up liquid for guest use and freezer blocks for food, with labels and a pen. There was also a recycling area and everything was very clean.
Some noise from outside of the site, but that's not the sites issue, think one boundary has a main carpark or area that teenagers hung out at, but all quiet by around 10pm and may have been a one off. The rules on the site are maintained, so no music etc, which does make it nice and quiet.
The bird song was fabulous if you like a 4.30am wake up call and the baby bunnies where so cute. Really felt like a back to nature.
