About the site

This tranquil, friendly, family-run park is set in 33 acres of parkland adjoining the old manor house, which is still used as a family home in rural North Devon. It's a beautiful area with rolling patchwork countryside, stunning views, fresh air, and the wide open spaces of Dartmoor and Exmoor. The park is set in its own secluded valley, with landscaped grounds including woodland, ponds, a three acre dog walking field and wild flower meadow. You have a choice of camping and caravan pitches, hardstanding, grass, all weather, standard, serviced or ensuite. There are water disposal points, fresh water taps and elsan points placed helpfully around the touring field areas. The Orchard and Meadow have a variety of large pitches that are 15m x 12m in size, with the ensuite pitches located in the Orchard. These pitches, as well as the facilities of a premium pitch, have their own heated ensuite facilities (shower, sink, WC, mirror and covered outside washing up area) that are just yours for the duration of your stay. In the Orchard and Meadow, there are premium pitches which are 15m x 12m in size and include a metered 16 amp electric hook up, drinking water tap, grey water disposal point, TV point and a picnic bench. On the other side of the driveway is a terraced area, with level standard pitches that have 16 amp metered electric hook-up with grass, hardstanding or all weather surfaces. The old walled garden is great for smaller tents, with sheltered level pitches close to the pool. All pitches in the walled garden have 16 amp metered electric hook-ups. As well as traditional camping and caravanning, you can also holiday in one of the luxury timber lodges or cosy camping pods. There is a range of facilities onsite to enjoy, including a bar, soft play, outdoor solar-heated pools, mini golf and large dog walking paddock, as well as direct access to the Tarka Trail, with bike hire onsite too. Your family pets are always welcome, and there is plenty of space for them to explore.

Open from 12 March to 1 November.
