This tranquil site can be found only a 20-minute drive from Bude and Summerleaze Beach, jewels of the Cornish coastline. Explore the surrounding forest paths, coastal cliff walks and historic tours. The Hedgehog Hideaway Shepherd's Hut offers the perfect place to rest. With a cosy double bed, furnished kitchenette, outdoor furniture and fire pit - you'll find all the home comforts you need for your countryside getaway. The site welcomes guests 14 and over only. This eco-focused site has Devon's beauty in mind - a portion of your payment will even go directly to the Devon Wildlife Trust. 100% natural toiletries and detergents are complimentary throughout your stay, and wildlife growth is encouraged throughout the site. Rescue farm animals also call this stunning area home, especially friendly hens and ducks. No dogs are allowed, sorry.

The Rydonn Inn is just 1.5 miles down the road and is great for an evening meal. Just five minutes away is the village of Holsworthy where you'll find a couple of good supermarkets.

A note from the site themselves...

As nature and wildlife lovers, we wanted to give something back - that's why everything here is as eco-friendly as possible. We want to protect this little piece of paradise and enable you to do so as well. As such, we are continually working to make the flower meadows better, encourage new wildlife and support the wildlife we already have on-site. This year we have nesting birds on the lake and we have created a habitat that has encouraged a barn owl to do a fly-by every evening like clockwork. We also make a donation to Devon Wildlife Trust for every visit, so even by coming here you are helping too.
