This must be the best campsite within one hour of my home and there are a lot to choose from,. In easy reach of Torbay, Dartmoor. Really pleasant operators, brilliant clean facilities and so peaceful. Easy reach of A38.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oakmoor Touring Park. The site was spotless as were the facilities. Great location with easy access to the A38 (you can hear a slight noise, but nothing that overly disturbs) and Dartmoor. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here next time weโre in the area.

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights with our two dogs. Oakmoor Touring Park is a lovely, clean, quiet and friendly site. There is a very pleasant woodland walk nearby and the location of the site is ideal for travelling into Dartmoor, or many other attractions. We plan to return next year.

Very peaceful stay at Oakmoor, with large pitches so plenty of room. Toilets were nice and clean. A short walk to the pub through the lovely woods, just follow the ant trail! Nice location for exploring the Devon countryside. The only thing was George, the yapping terrier, never stopped barking which did annoy me (no reflection on the campsite though).

Good all round site in a great location, toilets and showers were sparkling. The only improvement would be daily food vans and a kids play park so that more time could be spent onsite. But all round, well worth a visit.

Deb and her husband are super friendly and enthusiastic. The site is spotless and the facilities are exceptionally clean...there's a nice pub 10 mins walk through woodland. We highly recommend Oakmoor, and would definitely revisit. 5* (and that's just for Deb...:))

Beautiful site with scenic walks, great facilities regularly cleaned. Lovely washing area, books, games and activities for children. Weather was incredibly temperamental but we didn't care! Owners were welcoming, helpful, and very friendly to chat to. Perfect campsite to introduce our friends 4yr old to camping without fear they'd venture too far and get lost. 10/10

Great campsite, all the amenities were first class. Loved the variety of food available from the food trucks too. We were so lucky with the weather and had the best week camping.

Great site - well located not far from the m5 and a38 (but quiet - far enough away that you can't hear them) and easy to get to so many places from there. The green area was perfect for playing ball games etc as a family. Lovely friendly owners. Would definitely return.

Nice park, nicely laid out with clean facilities. Only complaint was showers were scorching hot, need to turn temperature down as not ideal as far too hot.
