We spent our first night in our tent at this peaceful, magical location but Storm Antoni started brewing through the night. We packed up early certain another day/night would 'Wizard of Oz' our tent away. We had booked another night's camping and was a bit stuck. The lovely team helped us by finding an available glamping pod called Poppy so our stay that night was safe, cosy and a lovely piece of luxury! Staff so friendly and facilities are fab! Amazing little shop on site too. Thoroughly recommend to all. Thankyou Little Roadway!

We only had one night over the Easter weekend - the weather was quite wet but the site was well organised to help with getting in & out considering the mud. The checking in was straight forward & relaxed. Perfect location for Woolacombe & the North Devon coastline.

Got to the campsite to check in as we booked a non electric pitch. Chose our pitch and unrolled the tent, but unfortunately found out we hadn't got tent poles. So we spoke with the owner and they had a spare cabin available, which was very lucky. They did their utmost to help and accommodate us. They were most helpful with our enquiries and needs. We would highly recommend a visit to stay at the campsite as the people were lovely and the location was perfect for our needs. A 5 minute drive to Woolacombe beach.

Hands down this has to be one of best, if not the best campsite, we have stayed on over the years. Incredibly polite and helpful people. Facilities were very good, ample space for campers, play park for little campers and it's within minutes from Woolacombe Beach We will be back for sure! Thank you!!

Good site in terms of size and cleanliness but we were not greeted on arrival. Though we got there well before their 6.30pm stipulated last check-in, it turned out we needn't have rushed to get there because our pitch was not beyond any barriers. I was rather annoyed that as soon as you sat down on the toilet in the toilet block, the light would switch off almost immediately and when washing your hands, you had to keep your hand on the tap, otherwise it would also stop immediately. We never saw the owners or staff apart from in the shop - no one popped round to greet us or ask us if we needed anything.
Site's response
Good morning, I don't normally respond to reviews, but felt. I had to with this one, mainly because I don't want people thinking we have barriers on site that close at 6.30pm and that people can't get on and off site after that time. It seems that you read the arrival information wrong, last check in time is at 7pm and we do have barriers on site, but they close at 10:30pm. This is to minimise vehicle movement on site, keeping everything quiet on site, because at 11:30 at night, no one wants car noise or lights swooshing over their tent, waking the family. I am sorry that the sensors aren't working properly in the toilet block. Unfortunately, until this point, no one has mentioned this to us and made us aware of it. And the staff in the shop are the owners. There are just the 3 of us, we are the only staff on site because the shop is also the reception, so unless we are cleaning, we are in the shop.

Excellent, welcoming campsite with good services, plenty of clean showers and toilets. The campsite was clean and tidy and quiet. Good location Woolacombe Beach which is a 20-minute walk downhill or a 5-minute drive with parking at £8. Easy driveable access to Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth

Little Roadway is a great campsite right next to a National Trust footpath, which is about 25 minutes from the beach (a lovely walk). Amazing facilities such as breakfast and dinner, hot showers, maps to local areas and plenty of space. The campsite itself was very clean and the staff were helpful and talkative. I would definitely return!

Had a nice time on our stay. Close enough to Woolacombe to commute in. Would not recommend walking as the park details suggest, it may be a 30 minute walk there, but would be more than double walking back. Playground for the kids was nice, but in need of TLC. The wood was falling apart and swing bolts were so weak they were almost about to fail. The biggest issue for us was the smell. The sewerage system appeared to be leaking or overflowing. The dog walking field had a large pool of sewage in the middle and the smell would waft all along the site. The shop was nice but they stocked premium products at premium prices. Everything that was there could have been really good, but was let down by simple easy things to fix. Probably would not return unless improvements were made.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in beautiful green hilly surroundings at Little Roadway Farm Camping Park. The site had great facilities and plenty of room. It was not crowded and is a family site. There were 2 clean toilet and shower blocks, great washing facilities, a lounge area with charging facilities and a little shop, a pop up street food van, and friendly staff. 20mins walk downhill to Woolacombe (more uphill back!) Spring Classic festival site was nearby and it was also an excellent location overlooking the sea and Woolacombe beach. It was not noisy for the campsite nearby and a walk back. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay, a beautiful location - able to walk to beach (bit of a trek uphill on the way home). Showers/toilets very clean, lovely shop with local produce, the owners are really helpful and friendly. Overall a great stay - would definitely recommend.

Lovely campsite. A half hour, beautiful walk away from Woolacombe beach (be mindful, it's all very uphill on the way back to the campsite!) The little shop on site is perfectly equipped for anything you might need camping, and there some very tasty fresh treats. The owners/staff were really lovely. Basic toilets/showers but would definitely stay again. I appreciated being pitched on the field away from the play park.

Really enjoyed our stay. One shower block being much better then the other is the only thing I could comment on.

This campsite is a gem! Everything you need for your stay. Enough showers and toilets, a great little onsite shop, washing up facilities, a dog walking field and a place to wash sandy wetsuits. It has a peaceful vibe and is a friendly spot. The street food on site is a great addition too. I liked the refill milk bottle scheme too. Definitely one we will come back to.
