Our first winter trip out in our caravan. With online check-in, it was a straightforward arrival driving through the ANPR gates and finding a pitch. Site and communal areas were very clean and tidy. We had a curry meal in the bar on our first night which was very tasty. Did not use the café. Swimming pool was clean and warm, adults enjoyed use of sauna and steam room. It was a good price for two adults and a child. Would recommend that you check the right timetable though! There were some great views from some of the touring pitches. Easy walk down to Eype beach and West Bay. Would definitely consider returning in the Summer.

Nice quiet and relaxing site. Good clean shower block. Showers are great as are large enough to have a seated and hanging area for clothes. Can walk to the nearby beach and can also walk to West Bay. There is a Spar on site for essentials. Has lovely views of the surrounding area and sea. Definitely recommend.

Our first time to this site. We would 100% recommend the site and the area. We would also return to this site as seems very good value. Without doubt the cleanest and tidiest site we have visited. It would be interesting to see if this standard is maintained throughout the season as our visit was February half term, so the site wouldn't have been busy before our visit. One minor comment would be that some of the fully serviced pitches, like the one we stayed on, would be difficult to manoeuvre onto without motor movers - there is an uphill and narrow road splitting the pitches, leaving little room to reverse onto. Once setup, you get great facilities, very clean shower and toilet blocks, well stocked shop and a welcoming bar and restaurant. The site has great views and is a very dog friendly with lovely walks on your doorstep, interesting beaches and stunning scenery. We look forward to returning.

Thank you for the review and your feedback about the fully serviced pitches. We normally suggest for vans over 7.5m and twin axle vans to go on gravel with electric as they are much larger and easier to manoeurve onto.

We stayed 2 nights. It's a lovely site. Warm facilities. The showers and toilets were lovely and clean. The showers are nice and hot. Lovely area and views of West Bay.

Lovely site. Clean, pitches well kept, staff lovely, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, amazing views and coastal walks. Good pub in Eype and walking distance to West Bay and Bridport, bus service to Weymouth, Lyme Regis etc. Cannot fault this site at all.

Great campsite with a decent range of food at the bar. People were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were faultless. Only downside is that we couldn't pre book specific pitches.

We enjoyed our recent stay. We found the site well equipped, friendly staff and exceptionally clean despite very wet and muddy weather. The facilities on offer added to our stay too. We would definitely book another stay.

Originally looked for a site with swimming pool in Dorset. Wasn't disappointed in picking Highlands End as it ticked all the boxes and then some! Easy booking, with vehicle registration entry making smooth access. Immediate impression was how clean and well kept the whole site was. After setting up, we walked to West Bay along the coastal path which is easily accessed from the top of the site. Stunning coastal & countryside views (bring your camera!). The well stocked shop was handy for those forgotten items and the bar/restaurant served a good selection of meals. Tried out the indoor 25m pool which again was spotless. Had to pay £4 pp for the swim, but good value in my humble opinion. Toilets and amenities were on hand and again super clean. Would definitely recommend the site. Will be returning for a longer stay in due course.

Very friendly staff, it's a very well run site with a lovely indoor pool 🏊♀️ The views across the bay are stunning and you can pick your pitch which is very helpful. We would definitely go back and we are going to rent a chalet.

Although a very large site, plenty of shower/ washing facility blocks at different areas meant you're never too far away from one. Very well run and maintained site, good shop and café, easy to get to, lovely walks and very dog-friendly (though we don't have a dog!). Helpful staff who were pleasant. Easy to walk to Eype (with a beach, café and pub), or a little further to West Bay or Bridport if you're mildly fit (it's uphill back!). Not somewhere you'd go to 'escape' as there are many people there but it wasn't especially noisy because it doesn't seem to attract a 'party' type of clientele (which definitely wouldn't be our thing!). Altogether a fine experience - well done Highlands End - we will come again!

Had a lovely stay. Shower block was one of the best I've used. Very clean and hot. Shower isn't one of those that you have to keep on pressing. Site was very clean and tidy. Only complaint would be that the bar shut at 10pm!

Our first caravan experience & though we didn't realise we had booked for a fully serviced pitch, we were very glad of the easy access to services. A great first experience, staff were all laid back & helpful. Exceptionally well kept. Site was a nice walk across the headland to West Bay. Excellent facilities & great walks & views on doorstep. If there was a negative, the swimming times didn't match the app so when we arrived for the general swim, it was actually a school session in place. The app timetable needs updating.

Highlands End was lovely. Good sized pitches. We booked Hard Base but would go for Gravel Base next time because there are now more to choose from. Facilities were spotless and the onsite shop was well stocked and sold normal priced goods. We went to the Curry Night at Martins Bar, the food was good.
