Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2023

A gorgeous little farm with orchards, just a few quiet pitches and great facilities. It rained the second night we were there so we hung out in the barn playing darts...it's a game-changer to have that communal space. Great for stargazing on a clear night and the loop walk around the farm is lovely.

A gem

Beautiful site accommodating 9 pitches in a huge undulating field with fabulous views. The generous pitches are well spaced, giving a sense of privacy. The loos and showers are spotless, and there is a well equipped, pristine kitchen in the barn. The barn is warm and dry and a great place to sit to eat or chat over a cup of tea. The hosts were super friendly and approachable and we felt would have been helpful if there had been any problems (there hadn't). The site feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, but there is a pub up the road and it's maybe a 10 min drive into Bridport and another 5 mins to beaches. This place really is a gem.

Our second time at this campsite and won't be our last! The field is beautiful and the facilities are great- a big barn and kitchen if needed/if the weather is bad. There are limited pitches so it will never feel too busy. Water is always hot for the shower and facilities very clean. Pizza night pizzas were delicious! And the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Only comment to make is the pub down the road is currently closed, but not sure we would have gone anyway! (We enjoyed some good cider made with apples from the farm!)

Absolute gem!

Set in a beautiful part of Dorset, this place was a real find. Freida was very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. Attention to detail with fresh flowers and fairy lights in the main barn. Will definitely return next spring.

Very peaceful site, we loved our stay! Would love to return. There is a well equipped kitchen with cooker and fridge, and barn with tables and games, useful in wet weather. A lovely 10 min walk across a field of sheep to the local pub which serves good food.

Stunning, quiet campsite

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

We spent just one night at Hincknowle, on the way to Cornwall, but I wish we could have stayed longer. The setting was stunning, set amongst the rolling hills of Dorset, with 360 views, and tonnes of space between pitches. The drive to Bridport was 10 minutes or less. The facilities included a converted barn with a fully functioning kitchen, ping pong table, plenty of seating and really clean showers/bathrooms. The owners were really friendly and, noticing our daughter was quite smitten with their pigs, took her to say hello to them. Plus there was cider to buy from the apples grown on site. If you're looking for the "wild camping" vibe, with all the comfort of great facilities, this is it!

Perfect and tranquil

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

This is a lovely campsite. The pitches are well-spaced apart. The toilets and showers are immaculate and are cleaned all the time. The site is so quiet and peaceful with such beautiful surroundings. The barn is brilliant with games and a fully functional kitchen with a cooker, fridge and dishwasher to use! Wednesday night is pizza night at the barn which are delicious . The hosts could not be more attentive or helpful, and being able to walk around the extensive beautiful farm and orchards is a bonus.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

We loved this beautiful, quiet campsite. The setting is exquisite. The fact that you can roam around the rolling hills and atmospheric woodland, which make up the farm site, is fantastic. The toilets are immaculate. You wouldn't know you were on a campsite inside them. Showers have plenty of hot water but you need to take a water proof bag inside to ensure your towel/clothes don't get wet! A carrier bag suffices! The barn and kitchen are a really nice touch. Would recommend they add a microwave and toaster if possible. We bought some cider from them made from their apples, amongst others. Delicious! Owners and their relatives who were looking after things for part of our stay were very friendly and helpful.

Such a fabulous site in beautiful countryside

This is the most peaceful, beautiful campsite you could wish for. Don’t think twice. Book it. Also go on the half hour walk around the farm grounds. It’s A+.
