As a working livestock farm, Dewflock Farm opens its doors to guests looking to experience farm life and country living. Ideal for families and couples, tents and trailer tents can camp on grass pitches with the option of electric. There are also a selection of partly and unfurnished bell tents available. Kids can have fun driving the mini Land Rovers onsite, with a cafe to enjoy a tasty breakfast. Weymouth is just ten minutes away too!

Took my 2 boys (age 7 & 9) and stayed in a furnished bell tent. We couldn't have asked for more from our stay. The kids loved the mini landiies, the games room and the breakfast baps. They also got to see piglets and stroke 2 newborn goats. The owners couldn't be more welcoming and friendly and the food and coffee were delicious. My only request would be to have the grass a bit shorter (or shorter grass walkways from tents to toilets) as our feet were always soaking from the long grass…. but then it is camping, so can't really complain! If we holiday over that way again, we'd definitely book another stay!

Lovely stay at Dewflock Farm, the kids had an awesome time and we were able to relax too. Loved the pizzas and would definitely recommend as a great place to stay for families.

We stayed in the Shepherd's Hut and it was a beautiful spot - complete privacy from the rest of the campsite, running hot water and a really well designed layout with seating areas to view sunrise and sunset. The hut itself was brilliant: a big enough bed for two, space for our stuff, and plenty warm enough even in the ropey August weather. We were travelling around by bike and foot and the location was great: 30-40 minute walk into Dorchester, and there's a big Tesco a bit closer. We were made to feel really welcome and especially appreciated having somewhere secure to lock our bikes each night. Looked like everyone else (mostly families) was enjoying their stay as well - there's space for kids to run around and animals for them to play with. Would recommend without hesitation!

I stayed here as a single female traveller and felt extremely safe at all times. I also travelled here by train + bus. I used the local Tesco (short walk away in Dorchester) for food and carried it back in my rucksack. The showers had lovely hot water. I never waited for a toilet, even when there were a few other families. The family atmosphere was inviting, even as a solo traveller. I felt the Shepherd's Hut was the perfect size for 1 person (I like a bit of personal space inside so feel it would be crowded for me if I stayed with another). The corn maze was amazingly fun! I did a day trip to Lulworth Cove by bus, connecting in Weymouth. I also visited the Dorchester market on Wednesday and bought a few fun things. Highly recommend for families or solo travellers like myself. The bus stop is right near the farm. Breakfast was perfect and affordable.

We had a fantastic weekend at Dewflock Farm - Verity is the perfect host. The kids absolutely loved everything about the place and didn't want to leave. It's such a safe and relaxing site in a great location - a short drive from Weymouth.

Verity and Tom were the perfect hosts and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The shepherd's hut was beautiful, clean and homely and was the perfect base for all our beach adventures, of which there were many. The on-site kitchen, barn and showers were clean and stocked with essentials for our convenience and we even had use of the barn to watch a bit of telly while we charged our phones. A great quality breakfast was available every morning at a great price and a friendly face to greet us and give us ideas of remote beaches to visit. I can't recommend Dewflock farm enough especially if you haven't camped before - we'll definitely be back!
