Longthorns Farm offers the perfect place for camping or glamping in the heart of Dorset and close to the famous Jurassic Coast. Spacious pitches offer a relaxed atmosphere with campfires, star gazing and much needed quiet time - with the odd tank rumbling by or morning call from the gibbons next door at Monkey World. The site is on a small working alpaca and cattle farm and has plenty of woodland walks.

We absolutely loved our stay at Longthorns Farms. We ended up booking an extra night as weren't ready to go home. The site itself is immaculate and offers very generous pitches. The toilets/shower and washing area are also incredibly clean. Lovely to see the Alpacas, horses and sheep. We went over the Easter and there was a lovely Easter hunt organised in the woods with a little prize at the end for the kids. The location is perfect with walking distance to Monkey World (you can already hear the monkeys). Only 2 mins down the road is the Tank Museum and 15 mins drive away is Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Added bonus is the large enclosed area to run your dog off lead. Beautiful place and most definitely recommend. We are already looking at booking again x

Very nice quiet park with good clean toilets. Close to Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum. The local village of Wool is good, would highly recommend it. The Black Bear is great for food.

Wonderful campsite, stayed on my own in my VW van and felt completely safe. Facilities are lovely and clean, bright and open. Love waking up to the alpacas too! Great value for money and lovely owners.

This was an amazing trip! The people are so lovely and helped us out when our dog was ill and did our washing as a result. Then when our tent broke because of the storm, they made sure we had somewhere to stay. I can't express our gratitude enough. The place was lovely, clean and definitely the break we needed. The alpacas are amazing and our two friends, the sheep, kept us company behind the fence. We will definitely be back, hopefully when it's warmer, and would highly recommend this place. Lovely, quiet park with woodland walks, very clean facilities and a lovely team who are very helpful. We did go in January so expected it to be quiet. There are a lot of pitches across a big area, yurts, cabins and Shepherd's huts as well. We would go back!

Great campsite, exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They have Alpacas and horses! Would absolutely stay here again. Location is great for exploring the local area but you will need to drive or get a taxi if you want to go out for a meal.

Definitely recommend. Close to beautiful parts of Dorset. Quiet and friendly. Loved the ability to have a fire pit, and loved the addition of the Alpacas! Toilets and showers were super clean and with lovely hot water.

We had a great time at the campsite. Location was perfect, facilities clean, staff friendly and alpacas lovely. Loads of space for children to run around the tents, not cramped next to each other.

Lovely site and spotless facilities. Dog friendly. We did have one late evening of tank manoeuvres but this didn’t really affect our stay. Nice spot with monkey world next door. Lulworth and Dursle door really close. Overall lovely stay.
