Sea Barn Farm is a friendly and family run camping site first established in the 1950s, and has been a popular camping destination ever since! Set on a plateau above the Dorset coast, you'll benefit from the 360-degree views of Lyme Bay, from Portland to Devon, as well as the rolling hills of West Dorset. A great place to watch a sunrise or sunset, and the night sky, with the moon reflecting off the Fleet on a still night providing a spectacular back drop for evenings under the stars. The site offers 70 non electric grass pitches welcoming tents, caravans and motorhomes. There are also a range of grass pitches with 10 amp electric for tents, caravans and campervans for those who still want to be able to use those essentials like a kettle! This is an ideal destination if you are looking to relax, walk the coast path and surrounding hills or windsurf/paddle-board at Portland Harbour, just 15 minutes away. You can also climb the many routes around Portland, or just explore and discover the fabulous local beauty spots this wonderful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer. The site also has its own farm walk, a two mile circular route, linking directly to the South West Coast Path. This takes you past the arable fields and grazing livestock, including a section along The Fleet lagoon. Guests are also more than welcome to bring along a gas or charcoal BBQ, as long as it is raised from the ground on places on bricks, so don't forget to pack your burgers and sausages. Four-legged friends are also welcome so no member of the family needs to be left behind! Just please make sure they are on a lead at all times, including while on the farm walk. Please note, groups are strictly not allowed.
Sea Barn Farm Camping Park is open from 04/04 to 05/11.
