Peaceful and secluded, Tobacconist Farm is an adult-only site located on the edge of the village Stroud, Gloucestershire. It is the ideal site to pitch up in the countryside and enjoy a cracking campfire. Dogs are welcome, and you're just a stroll from a lovely Cotswolds market town, with all of the AONB at your fingertips. Stunning walks start on Michinhampton's protected rolling hills and green spaces. A pub is within a short walk too.

We were delighted with our stay at Tobacconist Farm. Lucy greeted us with gusto and lead us through to our grassy bay where we parked up next to an attractive red berried tree - what a spot! Lucy shared all we needed to know. The site facilities are to a high standard with very good showers. Everything was perfectly clean and well maintained to a high standard. We loved the village of Minchampton and enjoyed two delicious meals at the local pubs and coffee at Henry's cafe in the village square. What a lovely place, with cows wandering around the common and village market, which we also enjoyed mooching around on Wednesday morning. The site and village met our needs so perfectly we contacted Lucy to see if she could accommodate us for the final night of our trip. We were excited to return and we're lucky enough to enjoy our favoured bay again. The resident donkeys were a total bonus too! Thanks Lucy for a memorable stay with you - we highly recommend this site and hope to return soon!

This is a really lovely campsite, very pretty and great facilities. The toilet blocks, showers and kitchen are kept very clean at all times. Pitches are a really good size and the local town centre is just a 5-10 minute walk away. Would highly recommend this adults only campsite, Lucy was kind and helpful throughout our stay :)

Fantastic relaxing break at this dog friendly site. Lucy was great. The location is excellent, conveniently located near the town which has pubs, shops and a small market. The Common is fantastic for dog walking.

The Tobacconist Farm has huge grass pitches, each cleverly screened by their own patch of unmown patches of native wildflowers and grasses. The shower, toilet, showers, washing up and laundry facilities are excellent and very clean. The contact with Lucy was excellent and her welcome when showing us the pitches available. The location is perfect for beautiful walking and is very close to the very picturesque small town of Minchinhampton and many other attractive locations. I only stayed one night but will definitely return. Thank you!

Generally an excellent stay that I cannot fault. Allocated plots with trees/bushes between for privacy. Perfectly clean facilities. Individual toilets and showers. Lucy was so so helpful and always answered our questions. Peaceful, multiple drinking water points and clean kitchen sinks, inside and out. Kitchen was warm, good for drying out damp clothes if, like us, you are unlucky with the weather. One thing to note is that there is no farm shop on site. This wasn't a problem for us and Lucy pointed us towards a lovely shop. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay here.

Perfect for our annual family camping outing. Relaxed with plenty of space. Grass not cut to within an inch of its life. Well drained, so despite recent heavy rain, the ground was dry. Good facilities; only drawback is sometimes users forgot to set the vacant/engaged sign. Excellent showers - instant hot water with lots of room and chairs to dump your stuff - other campsites please take note! BBQs to borrow. 15 minute wander into Minchinhampton with coffee shops and pub, plus well stocked shop and butcher. Loads of places to visit if you wish and easy walk onto Minchinhampton common. The two donkeys like apples, carrots and toast. We usually go to a different site each year, but don't need to now.

Used it as a stopover on our way back from Devon. Location is excellent, The site feels like you're in the middle nowhere but, 5 min walk into town. Pub, butchers, cafes and corner shop for all your supplies. The site facilities are great, plenty of hot water, showers, washing machine etc… No hesitation in recommending.

We were welcomed by Lucy when we arrived and shown to our assigned pitch, although we did have the field to ourselves when we arrived so she told us to choose and set up wherever we liked. We booked an electric pitch and Lucy quickly got us hooked up. The whole campsite was well mowed and the patches of trees and wild grass used to separate the pitches was great for added privacy and everyone had plenty of space. Clean toilets and showers and plenty of space too with lovely hot water. Great little under cover washing up area, there was also a laundry with a washing machine and fridge, but we didn't use these so cannot comment. There were also picnic tables and fire pits available to use and to move around where needed. As an adult only site, it was nice and peaceful - great for relaxing. The village was within easy walking distance and had a little bakery/cafe where you could get breakfast and a small supermarket shop which were very handy. There was also a chippy and pub, but we did not use them. Overall we had a great stay and it was lovely to meet Lucy, and of course I need to give a mention to Alan & Alice the resident site donkeys, so cute!! I would definitely recommend and would happily stay again. Thanks for having us x

Lovely quiet, tidy site with great location to Minchinhampton. Toilets and showers clean and tidy. Owners sell logs for fire pits and there are also ones to hire/borrow on site. Absolutely GREAT fish and chip shop 10 mins walk away that delivers too. Would definitely recommend to others and think we will be coming back. Loved the wild cows walking along the streets and over the common.

A lovely location. A quaint village with an excellent pub within a 10 minute walk - The Crown. A bit on the pricey side, but the food was beyond excellent. You will get what you pay for. Campsite showers and bathrooms are really clean and tidy. Firepit provided. All in all a lovely time was had by my fiancé and me.

A beautiful site in the middle of the village within walking distance of a pub and bakery that also sells delicious coffee and food. The entrance looks messy with old caravans and sheds, but the camping fields behind are very nice. Recommended! Translated from Dutch.

Thank you for your review. You're right, the campsite is a beautiful, a hidden gem, tucked away and very private. You do have to come through my farmyard to get there but that makes it even more special. Thanks again, Lucy
