A beautiful location and very peaceful well run campsite

Minchinhampton is a very beautiful location. A little Gem of a village in the Cotswolds. The Farm setting was also very peaceful with amazingly good, well kept facilities block. Lots of space for your camping area be it with tent, campervan or caravan. A warm welcome from Lucy who shows you to your plot and explains everything. Once you leave the town, head for the common. You'll be welcomed by free roaming cattle, and horses. Pubs and restaurants surround the common. Hunt them down for some fantastic food and local beers, not to mention the views. Sshhhh! Keep it to yourself.

Well kept site great location

We received a very warm welcome from lucy. Campsite was very clean good hook up and showers and toilets spotless.

Perfect

Loved it! So peaceful and relaxing. Lovely clean facilities. Some lovely donkeys that come and say hello. This is the best campsite I have stayed on! 5 minute walk into the town. Highly recommended.

Perfect peaceful stay

Excellent site. Perfect spot. for couples (or singles) or groups of friends. Quiet and peaceful. Ideal location. Close to to small town and plenty of lovely walks. Nailsford is worth a visit and Box wood is very pretty.. Minchinhampton itself is a very easy 10-minute walk and the Crown is friendly and does good food and nice beer. Showers are clean and also powerful. Very useful to have a fridge/freezer to use in the kitchen although not much room when it's busy. also washing machine. Washing line - all helpful extras. Loads of firepits available if you don't have your own. Bins provided so you don't have to take rubbish home, with recycling. Lucy very friendly and helpful - oh and 2 beautiful Donkeys in the field next door. What more could you want?

I think it's really unfair to give my campsite a bad review because it didn't have the right shade you required on one of the hottest weekends this decade! The campsite does have shade in many places but unfortunately not a single campsite in this country has shade for everyone when the weather reaches over 30°.

Perfect quiet campsite

Really can't fault this fabulous campsite. A quiet adult only bolt hole on the edge of a smashing little village. Great facilities, absolutely spotless. Large pitches, with a good degree of privacy and thankfully on the hottest week of the year, a good amount of shade. Will definitely visit again.

Tobbacconist campsite

We had a lovely stay, the camp is open and quiet. A small corner to ourselves with a picnic bench and fields next to us. Everyone was respectful and the facilities were amazing.

5 star relaxation

Best campsite. We had a lovely relaxing stay without any issues. Campfire every night. Site very clean and noise free.

A fab stay at a site with all the basics you need. A great location, too!

Perfect.

What a lovely simple site. Great for visiting the Cotswolds. Toilets and showers were kept very clean. Site was very simple and perfectly situated. The site owner Lucy was very friendly and accommodating and the best thing was there were donkeys that we kept topped up with apples 😝

Lovely site

Superb quiet site. Great for a bit of R and R. Lovely surrounding countryside and a friendly, welcoming village with a pub serving WONDERFUL food.

Lovely site

Lovely site, I thought £5 per night for electricity was a bit strong hence the missing star. Would definitely recommend.

A perfect stay

Had a lovely stay at Tobacconist Farm. The site was clean and tidy and the toilet/shower facilities were very clean. An enclosed wooded area for the dogs to run and explore. Very close (5 min walk) to Minchinhampton with a lovely pub, Italian cafe and artisan cafe. Roaming cows and wild horses on the common made our stay even more charming.

Cracking site!

Brilliant campsite, second time we've been there. Great location if you want to do a lot of walking, only 5 minutes from Minchinhampton common. Owner, Lucy and her son great hosts! Nice clean facilities, cannot recommend enough.

Peaceful

Brilliant stay. Very clean. Peaceful well maintained site.

Lovely, peaceful, spacious site

Great site, would definitely come again. Facilities block always clean and had plenty of showers toilets, washing up area and a good fridge freezer. Lucy is really welcoming and helpful. Big pitches, mostly on slight slopes. Quiet at night, and only a bit of traffic sound from the road nearby.

2 nights stay

Very pleasant site, clean and quiet. Large pitches kept private by long grass and wildflowers. Few minutes walk into the pretty village with very welcoming pub .

Lovely campsite!

We had a great stay at Tobacconist farm - it was so lovely we've tried to rebook in a few weeks but sadly they're fully booked. It's a nice quiet site, pretty small but big enough to have a big space to yourself. Lovely staff, nice clean facilities, and a great location for exploring the common and local pubs. Their designated dog walk woodland is a nice touch, our dog loved it! We'll rebook another time for sure!

Peaceful and spacious. Lucy takes pride in a well-planned and beautifully maintained, wildlife friendly site. Gorgeous area. Short walk to well-stocked shop.

Excellent weekend away

What an excellent campsite. Spacious pitches with no rules on which way you pitch which makes a lovely change and gives a great relaxed feel. The facilities are well laid out with plenty of hot water and very clean. Lucy is a brilliant campsite owner, so welcoming and we will definitely be returning soon.

Beautiful, peaceful, well kept campsite

Had a lovely weekend at the Tobacconist Farm campsite. Very clean shower and toilet blocks with nicely hot water. Great utility area including plug sockets. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Slight slant on the camping field but didn't cause us any issues.
