About the site

Just an hour from London's top attractions, such as the London Eye. It's the perfect base for exploring London and offers a convenient outdoorsy holiday for those who live in the city! If coming with your tent, there are a great range of pitches to choose from. Backpackers (singular person) are catered for with four pitches, whilst there are ten non electric grass pitches, along with 28 electric grass pitches that also allow tourers too, all measuring 4m x 7m. Trailer tents, caravans and motorhomes can take their pick. There are 23 grass and 45 hardstanding, each 4m x 7.5m, and 20 large hardstanding pitches (between 3.5m wide and between 7m and 10m in length) available. Each comes with an electric hook up too! All electric hooks ups are 10 amp, and all pitches allow up to six guests. There is also an additional RV pitch for the largest tourers which allows those up to 3.5m x 13m, set on hardstanding with an electric hook up too. For those wanting to travel light, opt for the purpose-built timber cocoons (sleeping two) and cabins (sleeping four). These offer electric, camp beds and a kettle for your morning brew. Please note, bedding is not supplied. Dogs are very welcome with campers on site, but unfortunately not permitted in camping pods and cabins. Bring a BBQ with you and you can sizzle up some food in the site's shared BBQ area, you can even hire a fire pit and BBQ from the site too! The site is within the London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) so those travelling by car will need to pay a congestion charge, or the Ponders End train station is a 15 minute walk away.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJul 2025

We stayed 1st time with a campervan and appreciated being close to London, which is easily reachable by public transport within 1 hour. Also very good was the possibility to get in by car 24 hours as we did a visit by car outside and returned late. The site itself is large and calm, absolutely no disturbance during night, even the location lies within arrival zone of all London airports. It was very interesting spotting the planes passing by.

Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Large Electric Hardstanding PitchesMay 2025

Absolutely fine again apart from a pile of dog mess, obviously left by the previous camper and not cleared up as it was sloppy. Not very nice as we could smell it because it was sunny. Not your fault and wouldn't expect you to clean it up.
