Bedgebury Camping is a small site offering real campfire camping on the East Sussex and Kent border. The site, which is located in Goudhurst in Kent, was established in 2010 and is committed to providing friends and family a relaxing break.
It's a unique camping experience and has been designed for campers and their friends and families. Different types of camping available include field, wood and hammock camping. There's also a communal tipi for campfire gatherings (and general hanging-out) and adorable little wooden compost toilet blocks.
Campfire starter packs are provided.
Seasonal campsite open during the weekends of July and August each year.
At Junction 5 of the M25 take the A21 to Hastings. Continue past Tunbridge Wells and head towards Goudhurst on the A262. Go up the hill into the centre of Goudhurst and turn right at the village pond down the B2079. Continue down the hill to the bottom and we are the last turning on the right before you start climbing back up.
Hot showers, a children's bath house and a number of washing up sinks. We have a number of eco toilets, as well as flushing toilets at the community area.

Bushcraft courses are available onsite. These will help you understand more about the natural resources that are all around you, from plants that you can and can't eat, to those that have medicinal properties. You will start to appreciate the rural environment in a completely different way.
Local towns and villages include Royal Tunbridge Wells, Cranbrook and Goudhurst.
Nearby attractions include Bedgebury Forest, Finchcocks, Scotney Castle, Bewl Water and Sissinghurst Casle Garden.
The site's policy is to simply charge per person, per pet and per vehicle for each night of your stay. There are no hidden costs or charges for the use of showers, hot water, extra tents, large tents, awnings, gazebos or barbecues.

Kids camping (aged 3 to 15):
No charge for infants under 3 years of age. Pets are £3 per night
Domestic vehicles (cars, campervans and motorcycles) brought on to the site: £3 per night
Commercial vehicles (big vans, branded vans, work vehicles) brought on to the site: £5 per night
25% single night supplement applies.
Sunday to Thursday are classed as week day stays.
No amplified music anywhere on our campsite at anytime. This includes from car stereos and mobile devices. No music or noise after 10:30pm.
