A note from the site themselves...

The campsite at Tomkins Farm was born from a camping weekend we held for friends and family where we wanted parents to relax, unwind and most of all have fun and where the children were safe to explore, get muddy, play in the trees and be children.

After this weekend and understanding how privileged we are to live in such pretty corner of the planet, where there is almost no light pollution, virtually no traffic noise, wide open blue skies (when clear) and wall to wall bird song, we decided to share what we have and allow others to come and unwind is beautiful Sussex.

Although we are a sheep farm, my love of the odd has meant that we also have alpacas, llamas and two Bactrian camels!

This was our second time staying here and was just as lovely as we remembered from last year! The man who runs it was very helpful and pointed us in the direction of a place called Barcombe Mill, where we went paddle boarding. The facilities have even been upgraded since we last stayed and is way more spacious and you don't have to worry about your clothes getting wet in the shower anymore! They even have proper loos now! Thank you, we will definitely be back!!

I hate rules but we do have to have a few to make sure that the campsite can operate peacefully and within the planning requirements set by our local council.

We are not allowed to have any amplified music on the campsite (Planning Condition)

Children must be back on your pitch by 8pm and under close control.

Noise must be controlled/reduced by 9pm and respect shown to others that may be trying to settle down for the night.

Fire Pits must not be moved from their original location as we don't want endless burn marks in the fields. Please set your tents in a position around the fire pit you want.

Litter and rubbish must be taken home with you. (Planning Condition) If this just isn't possible then please ask I can collect you bags and deliver them to the local tip for a small fee/bag.
