Things to do on site and in the Oldham area
Close to the Pennines and surrounded by The Lows Nature Reserve, there's plenty of opportunity to go on nice long walks and discover beautiful scenery. It's also close to Leesbrook Nature Park, the lovely Glodwick Lowes and the Medlock Valley. The more active might want to check out the cycling, climbing and hiking on offer.
The Metrolink tram station is only five minutes from the park and provides links to Manchester town centre, Rochdale and the Bury Market. Manchester is only fifteen minutes away and offers great shopping, galleries, football stadiums, museums and attractions including BBCs Media City and The Lowry.
Just by the site is the Hawthorne Inn, a lovely pub with good priced drinks.
