Stoughton Grange provides a cozy and pet-friendly glamping experience with three units that each offer a modern ensuite, comfortable bed, kitchenette, and outdoor fire pit. Two units also have wood-fired hot tubs. Guests can enjoy an onsite farm shop and distillery, interact with friendly animals, and dine at the award-winning gastropub, The Cow and Plough.

About Stoughton Grange
A countryside escape within easy reach of all of the amenities of Leicester. This family friendly glamping site is perfect for keen foodies with amazing produce available from the farm shop, artisan gin from the distillery and a delicious meal at the Cow and Plough gastropub. There are just three glamping units onsite, each sleeping up to two guests in a comfy kingsize bed. Inside, the units come with a kitchenette, a sofa or chairs, a modern ensuite and a table and chairs for enjoying your morning coffee. You will also have access to the communal outdoor fire pit for evenings in the open. Four-legged friends are also catered for with a cosy bed of their own. There is also a lake to stroll about and the Shady Lane Arboretum is also just next door, ideal for walks. Be sure to also bring wellies or outdoor shoes as the site can get a little muddy! For animal lovers, there is also Stoughton Grange Farm Park on site where there is even an adorable cuddle corner with rabbits and guinea pigs. If you enjoy arts and crafts, there is also a pottery painting studio where you can make something to take home. Please note, that the Farm Shop and Cow and Plough pub are both cashless venues and do only accept payment via card or contactless methods.

All glamping units have their own ensuite toilet and shower facilities.
Onsite there is the Stoughton Grange Farm Park, Stoughton Grange Farm Shop and Distillery and Lollipop's Pottery Painting Studio. If wanting to eat out, The Cow and Plough Bar and Eating House is onsite, an award winning gastropub using homegrown produce.

I booked to stay here with my fiancé for his 30th birthday, I wanted everything accessible as I'm heavily pregnant and it was perfect. All of the staff were so kind and helpful, especially the man who was behind the bar. He knew we had 2 dogs so had reserved us a table or a booth so we had somewhere to sit with them, he even made me mocktails that weren't on the menu. We were also given a dog bed for the dogs to sleep in, which they loved. Everything you need is right here, pub, farm shop, feel of countryside and safe space for dogs. I couldn't recommend it enough, it was such a lovely relaxing break. The only thing I would recommend is maybe a TV or something if you're staying any longer than a night but that's only because I couldn't make use of the distillery, haha.

Had a gorgeous two nights in a lovely glamping pod. Sat out in the evening by the fire pit listening to the owls. Billy (the owner) joined us on the first and bought beer with him - amazing! Wi-Fi is shocking, but guess to be expected in the middle of a field! Would be nice to have some toiletries in the shower, but the milk/water in the fridge along with the tea and coffee were much appreciated. Only downside was the standard of service in the farm shop/café which was appalling. However, at the point of visiting, this was not under Billy's management, so hopefully he can steer it in the same direction as the pods and the pub when he takes over soon. All in all, a great couple of very comfortable nights and we look forward to doing it again.

Things to do on site and in the Leicester area
With plenty onsite, there is no need to even get in the car for the duration of your stay. The onsite distillery offers both gin tastings and a VIP experience, whilst the farm park offers a whole host of animals, including pigs and shetland ponies, along with a wonderful cuddle corner.
If you do want to head out and explore, Leicester city centre is only a ten minute drive away. Here you can find the famous King Richard III Visitor Centre, once a simple car park. There is also the Leicester Museum and Art Gallery which is host to a range of exhibitions including an Ancient Egyptian collection.
The National Space Centre is also just 20 minutes away. See exhibitions on the Space Race, visit the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium and take a journey on the Tetrastar Spaceport.
