Come to relax and let the children run around with complete peace of mind, while you dine at the BBQ. Then chill out on the veranda or in the fully equipped front room with a log burner. Play games go for walks and chill getting back to nature at its best!
About Hidden Hideaway
This camping and glamping site is set in a secluded rural location on a working farm in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. The pleasant market towns of Uppingham and Market Harborough are within a 20 minute drive. You're within easy reach of bustling Leicester, but in a charming rural idyll untroubled by the smoke of the city. The site welcomes tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes on ten grass pitches, five with electric hook up and five without. If glamping is more your thing, opt to stay in a safari tent, equipped kitchen/dining area, lounge area with log burner to keep you warm, double bedded room, bunkbed room with pull out bed and room for a cot. They each benefit from a full bathroom with private toilet and shower. They can sleep up to 6, so perfect for couples or families to get away from it all. You can bring your dogs and make the most of the fantastic footpaths and bridleways to explore.
Open from 1 April to 31 October
Both safari tents have private facilities, and running hot/cold water. There is no electric on site so lights are battery and solar powered. There is a shared fire pit and 4G Wi-Fi is provided. The site has an honesty shop where you can purchase wood for the fire pits, log burners and hot tubs. There is a fridge guests can use and sockets if anything needs charging, plus a freezer for ice packs.

Things to do on site and in the Market Harborough area
On site there's a games chest, BBQ and outside play area with a trampoline which will keep children active and happy.
You'll be staying only 20 mins from Rutland water with its various watersports, cycle hire and lots of great family activities. Go for delightful walks or rent climbing equipment to get fit.
Wixton Maze is a great place to get lost with the family, and suits all ages with 8 acres of space to run around in.
Burghley House in Stamford includes an immense estate with luxury gardens, and a deer park. They run special events throughout the year, and allow you to tour 80 incredible rooms.
