About Wigwam Holidays Millside
Situated on the outskirts of the Grantham, this idyllic glamping site is tucked in to the Lincolnshire countryside, surrounded by stunning walking routes. Perfect for a family glamping trip, couples on a romantic break and friends keen to get together in the countryside, it's in a rural and picturesque location, great for relaxing and enjoying nature. Each of the six heated Wigwam pods includes both a double bed and double sofa bed, along with the convenience of an ensuite toilet and shower. Inside you'll find a fully fitted kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, hob, sink, kettle and toaster. Eat your meals on the dining table and chairs provided and perhaps kick back in front of the TV and DVD player. Outside is your picnic table and a fire pit and BBQ for you to sizzle up something tasty. For something extra special, you can stay in one of the two Wigwams with hot tubs, great for unwinding under the stars. The site is well located, a mere ten minute drive from the main A1 and Grantham Station, making it easy to reach both London and York by train. Up to two dogs are welcome to join you in the Wigwams.
Wigwam Holidays Millside is open all year round.
Facilities include ensuite within each of the Wigwams. Site facilities include a log cabin with table football, a pool table and other games for guests. Fly fishing and bee keeping sessions can be arranged on site.
The Stag Barkston pub and Londis are both less than a 15 minute walk away, great for the essentials.

Pod was a lot more spacious than we expected. Everything was clean and tidy, hot tub was lovely and everything extra we ordered was there set up waiting for us. Games room with pool table was a nice extra as well. We only had 1 night but it was lovely, will definitely be coming back!

Pod was great and well-equipped. The location was great; nice to be able to walk into the village. Only thing I'd want to say is that the mattress wasn't very comfortable. Next time, I'd take an airbed to go on top of it.

My partner and I stayed in one of the pods and I must say it felt so cosy and warm. The pod had everything you'd need. However, we did have to pay extra for the towels and bedding etc. As soon as we put the heating on it warmed up very quickly and it wasn't cold at all. It was very relaxing and the views were nice.

Things to do on site and in the Grantham area
You can book a fly fishing session in advance of your holiday with the site and enjoy a relaxing day by the water. For something new and different, get stuck into a bee keeping taster session - book this in advance if you're all a-buzz with the idea.
At the right time of year you'll also have a chance to meet calves and lambs that have just been born and watch them get to know their brand new world. There is also a maize maze and pumpkin patch for you to explore.
A short five minute drive will take you to Belton House, a National Trust Property known for its stunning grounds and spectacular 17th century English county house. You can wander round the 1300 acres of parkland, discover the charming history of the property or kids can play on the outdoor adventure park.
Newark Air Museum also makes for a fun, educational visit. You can see over 70 aircrafts, explore real life cockpits and learn all about the history of the RAF.
