About the site

This friendly, family owned and run site is a top pick for a break on the Lincolnshire coast and is an ideal base for exploring Chapel St Leonards (five minutes) and Skegness (ten minutes). Those with caravans, campervans and motorhomes can choose between spacious electric grass and hardstanding pitches, with 16 amp electric hook up, and fully serviced hardstanding pitches with electric, water and waste connections. The pitches measure 6.5m by 11m and have space for an awning and for a car to park alongside. Sorry, no pup tents or gazebos are allowed. There are also seasonal pitches onsite. There's plenty to keep the whole family busy here. Take a stroll to Ingoldmells Beach in 25 minutes, or drive to Gibraltar Point (20 minutes) to play hide-and-seek in the dunes. Fantasy Island's rollercoaster rides are just a 15 minute walk away, too, plus you're just a 15 minute drive from the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape for outdoor adventures. Dogs are welcome here, with up to two pets allowed per pitch and a dog exercise area for them to stretch their legs. BBQs are permitted, but must be raised off the ground. Sorry, open fires are not allowed.

The main facilities block has modern, accessible bathrooms with separate men's and women's toilets and showers. There is also a laundry room with a coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer, a washing up area, and a dog exercise area for your four legged friends.

For dining out, there are several pubs within a ten minute walk, including The King's Head, Ship Inn and The Countryman. You'll also be spoilt for choice in Ingoldmells, with a range of restaurants, pubs and cafes all within a 30 minute walk.

For picking up the essentials, there's a Tesco Express a ten minute walk away, and larger supermarkets can be found in Skegness, within a 15 minute drive.

*Check out time is 10:30am.

*Quiet time is between 10pm and 7am.

*BBQs are permitted, but must be raised off the ground.

*Open fires are not permitted.

*Motorbikes can be brought instead of a car.

*Commercial vehicles are not permitted onsite.

*Visitors cars are not permitted onsite.

*When you book, you must pay the applicable deposit requested. Your balance is due and payable 2 weeks before arrival.

*Bookings cannot be accepted from anyone under 18 years of age.

*All guests, group bookings in particular, are asked to be respectful to other guests during their stay. Please keep noise and foul language to a minimum wherever possible.

*Single-sex group bookings are allowed at the managers' discretion.

*Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times. The site has a deep water dyke adjacent to the recreational area.

*Pets must not be left unattended in accommodation or elsewhere on site and must be exercised on a lead under adult supervision. They must be kept on a lead at all times.

*American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fila Brasileiro and Dogo Argentino are not accepted onsite, even if the dogs are muzzled.

Things to do on site and in the Ingoldmells area

In a quiet corner of Ingoldmells village and within walking distance of the sea, the site is in a great spot for outdoor lovers who like to keep busy on a seaside break. Ingoldmells is home to several top attractions, including the beach and Fantasy Island Amusement Park, both a five minute drive or 25 minute walk away.

If you fancy some outdoor adventures, it's a 15 minute drive to the Lincolnshire Wolds for many miles of trails. Golfers, meanwhile, can walk to Skegness Golf Centre in 20 minutes for a game, or play the links course at North Shore Golf Club, a ten minute drive.

You'll also be a ten minute drive from Skegness, which hosts a whole host of activities to do during your stay, including the blue flag beach, the pier, a boating lake. Pleasure Beach Amusement Park and the Aquarium.

Take the kids to meet Highland cows at Hardy's Animal Farm (5 minutes) or meet baby seals at Natureland Seal Sanctuary (10 minutes), and check out the sealife exhibitions at the North Sea Observatory up in Chapel Point (10 minutes).

Wear them out a little more on the trampolines at Jump Warriors Trampoline Park (20 minutes on foot), then calm things down as you teach them about local history at Skegness Model Village (10 minutes).
