Things to do in Mablethorpe
The small and enticing coastal town of Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire is a great destination for anyone wanting a fun and relaxing seaside getaway. The beautiful long and sandy Mablethorpe Beach is sure to be a hit with beach lovers of all ages. It's a lovely spot for seaside walks and the water is safe for bathing.
Mablethorpe Sand Train runs from the central beach along to the seal sanctuary, with six stops for you to disembark and explore. A second land train, Jacksons, gives you the chance to explore the town from a different perspective - both are very popular.
There's lots of family fun on offer at Mablethorpe Fairground, with a variety of games and rides. And of course, the opportunity to get some friendly family competition going with a game of crazy golf on the promenade.
Animal lovers will have a blast at the excellent Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary and Wildlife Centre. The sanctuary is home to a variety of wonderful animals including seals, meerkats, owls and monkeys.
