Lovely site

We stayed for 4 nights in September, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The facilities were very modern and looked brand new. All areas were kept spotlessly clean and these were maintained throughout the day. In terms of the facilities, this is the nicest campsite we have stayed at. The site is secluded, however, about a ten minute drive away there are supermarkets and pubs. The site was also well located for day trips to Nottingham, Leicester and Lincoln. We would definitely visit again.

Highly recommend staying here

We stayed here for 1 night as a stopover when visiting family to get the kids out in nature, as opposed to being stuck in a hotel. We were very impressed with their facilities, they were very clean and felt luxurious, which made you almost forget you were camping. The staff were very friendly and were on hand to assist in any way. This is a great place for anything from 1 night to a few weeks. I would highly recommend staying here, especially for the price. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Nice quiet site

Very nice site. All the facilities were excellent. Shop facilities very limited though, not even bread available. All staff very friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a review. We don't have a 'shop' on site. We have an office which has ice creams and drinks available. The nearest shop is just 1 mile away. Great to hear you would recommend us to others!

Solo motorcyclist

A secure site with barrier down at night. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Brilliant toilets and showers at hotel standard of fit and finish. Mostly caravans on site, but plenty of room for my little tent near the lake..

Beautiful restful site

A lovely site nestling amongst pretty villages, but within very easy distance of Lincoln. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - incredibly quiet (it was midweek just before the school holidays) & felt as if we had facilities to ourselves 😆 We were given a friendly greeting when we arrived. Lovely setting with walks around a fishing lake or through some woods. The showers were hot & had great pressure. Toilet block & washing up facilities were just as clean & modern. Impressive!

Excellent site

The best toilet/shower facilities at any site I've been to. Plate recognition at the entrance too for peace of mind. Friendly staff and easy to find.

Nice quiet site

Good site, quiet, can park car next to your tent. Barbecue and fire 🔥 in the evening time. Woodland walk.

Great site for a motorbike

Fantastic site, lots of space on the non electric pitch. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great site for a motorbike camp.

Good friendly spot

Nice campsite. Very welcoming upon arrival. We were given a map and a fun trail to explore the woodland area of the site. The facilities were great, nice, clean and modern.

Beautiful site

Beautiful park with lots to do and the staff are really pleasant. Toilets and showers are immaculate! Best ones I've seen on a campsite. Lots of space, you don't feel like you're all crammed together. I would 100% recommend this park to anyone that enjoys camping. Thank you! ☺️

Late September break near Lincoln for two nights

We only stayed two nights and there were very few tourers there. However we were very warmly welcomed by the warden and had a spacious plot .The site was very quiet and had some lovely walks and a huge area for the dog to run in. Facilities were clean and the showers were very large, with plenty of room for your clothes etc . It was a convenient location between Newark and Lincoln and was easy to find.

Pleasant stay at Oakhill

Lovely place to stay. Jodie the warden was very welcoming, very informative, always with a smile on her face and keeps a good site. Clean site, peaceful, plenty of walking area for the dog and also has a fishing lake on site. Will definitely be going back.

Great fishing weekend with my son

Perfect fishing weekend away. John the lake bailiff was a superstar by helping my son to fish!

Good

Really nice quiet campsite. Lots of woodlands to walk about in and really nice clean facilities. Staff were really friendly as well. Would defintley come back.

Weekend break

Lovely quiet site. Fabulous showers and toilets. Only gripe…a later check in time would be helpful. Had to rush like mad to make it by 5 pm!

Good stay

Very clean facilities however they are a far walk away from the tent pitches, if you start to need a wee you better start walking. Not very good when you wake up in the middle of the night needing to go either. Lovely site though, easy to find. Close to little villages. Lady in reception was friendly too.

Lovely site

Lovely site, great location. Lovely areas for dogs to be off lead. Staff member on site is really friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Came home nicely chilled out 😊

Perfect!

Lovely site, so much so that we went back the following weekend. Would definitely recommend, we will be back again. Perfect for a quiet break with walks for the dogs.
