Uncover all the fun of the Lincolnshire Coast from Country Meadow Caravan Park, which is set minutes from the beach. Offering both grass and hard standing touring pitches and cosy camping pods it's the ideal base as just a quick drive will take you to the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary and glorious seafront, or you can be in the Lincolnshire Wolds within less than a half hour.

The only disappointing feature was the little park was locked most of the time. The owner said it was too windy.

Beautifully kept site, Caroline and Keith were most helpful and very welcoming. Toilet and shower block very clean. Conveniently situated for many locations and we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Cleanest site ever been on. Owners really nice and helpful. Only downside, need a car as not near anywhere and no footpaths.

A little out of the way if you wanted to walk somewhere and there's no paths along the roadside, not very good to walk the dog. Nice near site, noisy big dog! But was okay, could do with a couple more toilets/shower facilities. Would stay again.
Site's response
Thank you for choosing to visit our touring site. Yes we are a rural caravan site located away from the nearest town of Sutton on Sea, which is 2 miles away. As we are a rural site, then there is no public foot pavement along the road side, however there are public footpaths across the fields opposite the campsite where you are allowed to walk dogs. For the toilet and showers, we have to comply with council regulations, which we do. However, council regulations say that we do not have to supply showers. Guests could always use their own facilities in their own vehicles.

Extremely friendly welcoming from very nice and friendly people. Husband and wife team. Faultless in their approach and behaviour. Close to A52 so quite noisy. Male shower block could do with some cilit bang to remove the mould from the corners. Toilets were clean. 2 miles walk into town for nearest facilities etc.

This was the first time we stayed away in our caravan. This owner are based on sites and were helpful and friendly. Keith walked us to our pitch and helped us get set up, lending us a bump hammer for our canopy pegs. The facilities were very clean I would recommend to any new or experiance caravaners Thank you Keith & Caroline

First time here- loved it, peaceful and well maintained. Although it's a family site it was mainly mature guests and the families here were well behaved, a far cry from some of the family sites we've stayed on. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay on Country Meadow Campsite, just outside Sutton on Sea. We received a warm welcome and were soon situated on our hard standing pitch. There are also grass pitches and I believe they all have electric hook up. There are several seasonal pitches and we found the 'locals' to be very friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless throughout our stay and were always quiet and private. The grounds are also very well kept. It is situated on the main road into Sutton, which some other reviewers had mentioned, but this is quiet Sutton, not the M1 and any noise from vehicles going by didn't bother us at all. It is a 5 minute drive, or a delightful, quiet walk, mainly along a footpath and the seafront, into Sutton. We enjoyed the walk, but it may be something to consider if you are less able. I believe there is an hourly bus. All in all a delightful stay on a lovely little campsite.

Great location, ideal if you want a quieter site. Facilities were good, not seen charges for using showers before, didn't really like that. Utility room was great, but there's only one sink so you may have to queue. Pod was super, good value for money and comfortable.

Enjoyed our stay at this camping site. Very neat, very clean and nice size plot for the van and awning. Owners were very nice and friendly. A 5 min drive to the seaside and local town. One criticism was a small charge for using the showers. Overall very nice, will return in the future.

We loved staying here. The owners were lovely, even if everything was going wrong for us, they just laughed along with us 🤣 We stayed with 2 teenagers and a 9 year old. I wouldn't recommend to stay with kids just because its a lovely site and you're scared of them damaging something 🤣 It's also extremely quiet from 9.30/10pm, so its not somewhere to really sit outside having a drink. However, I would definitely recommend for older couples as it is extremely clean and well looked after. Everyone else who stayed is extremely lovely as, and there were some regulars who made us feel really welcome. Overall its a lovely place!!

A beautifully run campsite, very very clean and the folks are welcoming…lovely showers, nice and peaceful surroundings. And I had a cracking day at the spa next door, which was not planned but a welcomed treat. We will be returning next year without a shadow of a doubt. So a big thank you from the McEnery folks xx 🤗
