Lindsey Trail Touring Park is an adult only touring park situated on the outskirts of Market Rasen. It creates a peaceful rural setting for caravanners and campers to relax in, but also provides a base for exploring the Lincolnshire countryside. The park is dog friendly and there are facilities for you to bring your horse and access the Lindsey Trail and local bridleways. Half hour drive from Lincoln and less than an hour from the coast, too.

About Lindsey Trail Touring Park

The site is quiet and set in a rural location but within a mile of the town of Market Rasen, ideally placed for accessing the local race course. If you like walking or cycling, this is the place to come, with lots of local footpaths, walks and country roads. Enjoy grass/hardstanding pitches surrounded by sheltering banks of trees, with access to drinking water and 16-Amp electric. The park is named after the Lindsey Trail, a long distance route of almost 70 miles which runs close by and offers excellent adventures on foot, by bike or with your horse.

Facilities and amenities

Site facilities include a shower and toilet block, with men's and ladies' toilet and shower rooms. Disabled toilet and shower room available. Utensil and cooking washing facilities provided, along with ice pack freezing.

There is a wooded dog walking area.

Pubs, restaurants and takeaways within a mile. Supermarkets, small shops and businesses are also within a mile of the park. Golf is available in the wider area.

Thank you Ian for a lovely stay. We shall definitely be back in the future. You have a very well appointed site and the large dog walking area, shaded by trees, makes sure our dog family members are well catered for too.

Just returned, a very peaceful site and very well run and Ian the owner nothing was to much trouble very good for cycling and walking. We will be returning in the near future.

Dogs are allowed so long as they are well behaved. They must be booked in prior to arrival and stay on a short lead at all times. You must clean up after your dog immediately.

Please respect that there is to be no noise on the park from 10:30pm.


FAQ

Checking-in here is between 2pm-8pm and you must vacate your pitch by 11am on day of departure.

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead whilst onsite and are not a breed/crossbreed listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act - a wooded dog walk area is also on the site.

You're welcome to bring a BBQ, provided it is kept raised off the ground - open campfires are not permitted.

The high rope course at Wild Pines Park is a short walk away, nestled in the lush Linwood Warren woodland, or you can explore Willingham Woods and go wildlife spotting at the nature reserve nearby. Alternatively, a quick car ride and you'll reach Rand Farm Park, complete with tractor rides, animal encounters and more to keep the kids entertained. Enjoy a pedal along the Lindsey Trail route running nearby the site, and stretching for nearly 70 miles!


The site is near a nature reserve and also Willingham Woods which makes for an outdoor haven. Wild Pines Park is stuffed with high rope course activities for the more adventuresome.

A short drive away is Rand Farm Park and Hall Farm Park where there's space and beautiful nature to get lost in. Just a half hour drive away is the historic city of Lincoln with its beautiful cathedral, historic castle and tempting shopping area.

Again approximately half an hour away is Grimsby with its fishing heritage museum and indoor shopping area. The market town of Louth is also very close.

If the weather looks good and you fancy a proper day by the seaside, the East Coast of Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Skegness with their beaches are a simple drive away.
