A 20 minute walk from The Axe and Cleaver pub, serving food and drink daily. Dogs welcome!

About the site


This one acre site is ideally located for exploring North East Lincolnshire, less than a five minute drive from the coastline and a 20 minute drive to Louth town. There are plenty of local walks along the seaside where you can take in the wildlife as well as cycle routes, including the first of the Lincolnshire Wolds Cycle Routes. The site offers five grass touring pitches with 16 amp electric hook ups suitable for campervans, motorhomes and caravans. This site is for Caravan and Motorhome Club members only, a membership is required to stay. There are also cottages to hire onsite. They have onsite laundry facilities, meaning you don't bring back half the beach after a day exploring! Dogs are welcome to join you for your stay, with up to three per pitch. BBQs and open fires are not allowed.

*Arrivals are from 2pm. Please notify the site if you plan to arrive after 8pm.

*Departure is by 11am latest.

*A deposit of 25% of the total booking fee is required to secure a booking.

*The full balance is due for payment 7 days prior to arrival.

*If booking within 7 days of arrival payment in full is required at the time of booking.

*Minimum stays apply at bank holidays

*By making a booking you agree to abide by our terms and conditions

*Bookings cancelled within 7 days of arrival date are not refundable.

*Bookings cancelled more than 7 days before arrival date will incur a 1 nights fee cancellation charge. Any other fees paid will be refunded.

*No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

*Cancellations made by the site due to unforeseen circumstances will be entitled to a full refund.

*Noise will be kept to a minimum after 9pm and no noise between the hours of 10.30pm and 8am to ensure quiet nights for all guests.

*Please keep your speed to a maximum of 10 MPH on entry/exit of Meals Farm.

*Please do not smoke in or around the toilet/shower facilities. Please dispose of your cigarette butts properly and do not leave them on the ground or in any of the bins in the toilet block.

*BBQ's are permitted however they must be raised above the ground away from grass, trees and plants.

*Please do not dispose of your BBQ charcoal in the bins.

*Fire pits are not allowed.

*Grey waste water may be emptied along the hedge line but please do not empty your on board tank onto the pitch.

*Awnings when used must not exceed the length of the caravan with no extensions and must be securely anchored to the ground. Breathable groundsheets must be used. No pup tents to be erected.

*Dogs must be kept on a lead at ALL times.

*No dogs are allowed in the toilet/shower block.

*Please pick up after your dog and place it in a sealed bag.

*Please be mindful that some guests onsite may not be familiar with or like dogs.

*Dogs are not to be tied to fences or trees within the site grounds.

*The site does not accept breeds/cross breeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.

*Day visitors are free of charge (max 2 visitors per unit) and they can arrive from 10am but must leave the site by 8pm.

*Guests on site after 8pm are subject to an additional fee of £5 per person per night.


Things to do on site and in the North Somercotes area

Less than a five minute drive from the site is Donna Nook Grey Seal Colony on the nature reserve. In November and December, you can see the grey seals come to the Donna Nook coastline to give birth to their pups on the sand dunes.

The site is located a five minute drive from Mablethorpe Beach, where you can enjoy the sandy shoreline, donkey rides, cafes and watersports such as swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking

There are four Lincolnshire Wolds Cycle Routes and the site sits just a five minute bike ride from the first route running through North Somercotes. The route, located near the site, heads towards Louth Town centre and loops back up towards the coast again. Considered intermediate in difficulty, this route offers scenic countryside and coastal views.
