About Fakenham Fairways
This campsite is your gateway to North Norfolk. It's just 10 miles from the beautiful seaside town of Wells-next-Sea with its famous beach huts, 11 miles from Holkham, and seaside spots such as Cromer are all in easy reach. The site also forms part of a golf driving range pitch and putt and crazy golf course totalling 22 acres in all. You can choose between hardstanding or grass pitches with or without electric. There are also some jumbo pitches for bigger tents. The site offers views of the local countryside and includes mature hedgerows and trees. The site is also thoughtfully divided to allow for both family areas and other sections which are for adults only.

The site has separate ladies and gents toilets and free hot showers. There is a freezer for your freezer blocks and an undercover washing up facility.
There is a licensed coffee shop selling cakes, hot and cold drinks, along with beers and wines. Free WiFi is available in the coffee shop only. The site is part of a 22 acre complex, including a golf driving range with a par three pitch and putt course.

I was a solo traveller with two dogs and wanted a position away from others so my dogs wouldn't disturb anyone, although they were fine. Tried putting up the awning alone and asked for help and the two ladies were brilliant and we put it up together in no time. Great facilities and a quiet site, just what I wanted. Will definitely be back.

Lovely campsite with clean facilities. Nice hot showers. Good value for money. Really nice owner who was very welcoming and helpful with local information. Great spot for getting out and exploring Norfolk from. Would definitely stay here again if I was to visit Norfolk in the future. Not a negative as such, as it didn't concern me too much, but for those wanting a quiet site, the site is quite near some busy roads, so road noise on the site can be quite loud.

Site was ideal for our first touring caravan experience. Good location to explore North Norfolk. Facilities were very good and well maintained. Golf facilities were an added bonus, which I will hopefully use on our next visit.

Things to do on site and in the Fakenham area
There is a family field at Fakenham Fairways which backs onto an acre of children's play area, this has plenty of space for running, cycling, playing football or trying out your balance on a trim trail.
Stepping out in the local area, Norfolk has 90 miles of incredible coastline. The closest stretch of coast, 10 miles away, is Wells-Next-Sea which has a lovely wide sandy beach, backed by pine woods and 200 colourful beach huts that add a certain charm.
A mile further west is Holkham Bay's enormous beach- a favourite with doggie visitors. About 15 miles away are the charming seaside spots of Brancaster, Sandringham, Holt, Sherringham and Hunstanton.
Norfolk is chock full of fantastic nature reserves - just the names of Titchwell, Cley, Holkham, Blakeney, Snettisham and Welney will resonate with keen wildlife lovers. Sculthorpe Moor is only a mile away from site an excellent chance to get close to birds throughout a patchwork of habitats.
Fakenham Fairways is only 5 miles from Pensthorpe Natural Park where you can experience the beauty of the natural world on lakeside nature trails and woodland walks. Ramble around four stunning gardens and enjoy adventure play in a purpose-built indoor play area, Hootz House.
Cycling is a great way to see more and national cycle route 1 is less than a mile away. From there, a network of cycle routes open up and before long you could well find yourselves at Wells-Next-Sea or deer spotting at Holkham country park.
