A note from the site themselves...

If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle and 'busyness' then our site could be perfect for you. We very much believe in offering spacious 'pick your own' pitches with not a tape measure in sight! You will be immersed in nature and will see lots of wildlife, including brown hares, barn owls, marsh harriers and wildflowers to name but a few.

Many of our visitors also comment on the magic of the 'dark sky' ideal for star gazing, especially when you are cosied up around the fire pit!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

We loved this well equipped, but 'back to basics' campsite. Great choice of where to pitch, we liked the option of having a picnic bench next to the tent. The gas powered showers worked wonderfully and were always kept super clean. The optional fire pit was great for relaxing by in the evening. One thing we especially liked was in a country where everything seems to revolve around access for dogs, this was a pet free site- long may this continue. Without the presence of our four legged friends, we got to see hares and their leverets enjoying a run around the first field and a low flying juvenile marsh harrier, along with toads and a wide variety of birds. A tranquil haven for campers and wildlife alike.
