About Glamp and Tipple
Glamp and Tipple are a small and exclusive yurt glamping site set on Norfolk farmland. Luxury stays are the name of the game with private heated bathrooms, private/covered hot tubs and many wonderful extra options to enhance your stay. The site has five luxury, heated yurts, each with its own individual theme/colour scheme making them all unique! You will also have your own private covered wood-fired hot tub (including jets and lights!), private heated bathroom, private kitchen with double gas hob, fridge/freezer, BBQ/pizza oven, fire pit, all utensils, crockery and much more included the accommodation price! The site is set on a beautiful and bustling working farm, Rookery Farm, in Great Ellingham on Watton Road, which services the farm and other traffic at various times of the day. Due to the location, guests should expect that there will be a certain amount of activity around the site which can generate some noise, but hopefully, this doesn't impact your enjoyment. So many amazing extras are on offer here too! Have your yurt decorated for a special occasion, book in for candle-making workshops, cocktail-making masterclass, silent discos, private beauty treatments, yoga sessions, cinema nights and so much more including countless food options, including afternoon teas, 3-course meals and gourmet hampers! Dogs are welcome.

Guests staying in the yurts have access to private posh bathrooms, hot showers and private kitchen areas with private BBQ/pizza oven and fire pit. There is an on site honesty shop where you can pick up delicious local produce as well as a farm shop with fresh meat, fruit and veg.
The site provides a children's play area, table tennis/table football, dartboard, giant outdoor games, a snug/games room and badminton/volleyball net as well as a whole host of onsite activities.
There are many food packages you can book onsite from afternoon teas and graze platters to full three course meals. Alternatively, a number of bars and restaurants can be found within a few miles of the site with The Crown in Great Ellingham being a mile walk up the road.

A group of 4 ladies went and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The yurt was decorated well in a bumble bee theme and had all we needed for a relaxing break. The hot tub was the highlight and we certainly made the most of it. We had booked massage treatments by Anna and she was excellent and very friendly. Loren, her mum, and Helen (we didn't meet Lou) were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We'd booked afternoon tea after our massages and they came beautifully arranged. For £25 each, they were very good value. The only negative is that it was very muddy and we couldn't use our fire pit and BBQ, but this is the British weather for you! All in all, a very relaxing break and would definitely come again.

Thanks for such a lovely review, Carole! We are so happy you enjoyed the stay - it was lovely to meet you! Yes unfortunately we have been hammered with a record amount of rainfall this winter (south Norfolk was even in the paper as being one of the worst affected areas!) Obviously we always advise guests if the conditions are muddy and we are glad you all remembered your wellies! So sorry you weren't able to use the BBQ/fire-pit, if we'd known you needed them moved to a dryer spot, we would have happily moved them for you so you could utilise them. Unfortunately, as with all outdoor locations, the weather is the one aspect we can't control but we are closing in March to try and improve the drainage and paths on site so we can try to avoid this situation if it should happen again! We'd love to welcome you back one day!

I can't recommend this place enough. We had a fantastic 3 night stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. The Yurt was beautiful and the bed was really comfy, the best night's sleep I've had in ages. All the staff and owners are really lovely people and a big thank you to Loren, who greeted us on our arrival. She was brilliant and a credit to Glamp and Tipple. Can't wait to go back 😃

Thank you so so much! This really is such a wonderful review and it makes our whole team so happy! Loren is AMAZING and we are so very lucky to have her happy and smiley personality on the site. We spent the best part of a year trying to work out a contract she would be able to afford to accept (both parties equally keen to work together!). As we were only a baby business, at the time, the idea of being able to afford a full-time member of staff was a scary prospect! We are so happy we took the leap of faith, she has been such a great asset and such a joy to work with! Long may she help us make G&T what it is!
