Millview Meadow Retreats is a lovely glamping retreat in the heart of the charming Norfolk Broads. These heated ensuite pods sleep upto four people and have stylish furnishings throughout. A dog friendly site with lovely countryside views whilst still being an easy drive to the coast.

About Millview Meadow Retreats
Family friendly site set within the charming Runham village in the Norfolk Broads, just a short way from the River Bure and ten minutes from east coastline beaches. A lovely escape for anyone looking for an extra slice of luxury. There are just three glamping pods, one of which is pet friendly and two which are pet free. All sleep up to four in a king size bed and set of bunk beds. The kitchenette has an integrated breakfast bar and is full equipped with a sink, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, crockery, cooking utensils and a smoke detector. The ensuite has a shower, toilet, wash basin and complimentary toiletries. Each pod is well insulated with central heating and even has a 32 inch smart TV and WiFi. Breakfast packs can also be provided upon request. Outside, the large French doors open up onto a private decking which is complete with quality outdoor furniture and a fire pit with an integrated BBQ grill. so you can sit back and relax with views over marshland with grazing animals, a historic Norfolk mill and a section of the pretty local church Dogs are welcome and with there being so much nearby countryside, this is a lovely choice for dog walkers and hikers alike.

What in an incredible little find this was. When you book places that you have never been to before is always a bit of a gamble...this one paid off!! From the moment we arrived it all just felt right. The Pod was brilliant. The shower was really good for this kind of pod. The mini kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need, even a jar of cookies!! The TV had Netflix and all the "Iplayers" loaded into the TV, if you needed that. We just had the doors open taking in the silence and the incredible view from the very comfy bed. We had the dog friendly Pod and the little doggie treats left were a nice touch. Highly recommend this place. Would return again and again and again. 5 stars.

Lovely peaceful location, easy to reach other places of interest. Bed was really comfortable and it was a nice touch to leave the basics - tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Only issue for us was that the kettle had seen better days, we used a saucepan to boil the water. Also, the en-suite could do with a deep clean, as there was lots of dirt/grime around the tap on the sink, the bottom of the shower door and the floor of the shower looked like it needed a good scrub, easily put right.

We have never received negative comments about the cleanliness of our pods, so we are surprised to hear this. However, we do appreciate your experience and as a result, we will be reviewing these comments with our cleaning team and ensuring they are actioned. In addition, we will be purchasing new kettles for all units for the 2024 season. Kate.

The Norfolk Broads is a spectacular place to get out and about. You will be spoilt for choice with things to do, such as discovering the Broads by boat or by bike! Explore the gentle and quiet countryside and stop at one of the many pubs along the way, serving local ales and tasty meals made using local produce.
Enjoy seal spotting at Horsey Gap on a cold Winter's day for all wild life lovers.
