Campsite aerial

Galley Hill Farm Camping is ideally located to explore beautiful beaches and scenery as it is just a mile from the Quay at Blakeney. It is next to a B road so there is some road noise. The campsite is a 20 minute walk from the coastal path along North Norfolk's gorgeous coastline, with the seals at Blakeney Point sure to be a hit with the kids. Spacious grass pitches and a cosy camping pod are perfect for hassle free breaks. Sorry, no dogs.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

Good facilities and central for all the places of interest on our itinerary. Easy to book online. Very helpful on arrival, with a few pointers re parking in the village etc. Quiet, very tidy site and had good facilities. It was an ideal location to explore north Norfolk. Thank you, we will return next year.

Site's response

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

A nicely kept, quiet site within walking distance of Blakeney with pubs, restaurants and shops but there's only footpath for part of the way. There was only 1 toilet and shower each for men and women, although there was also a disabled one.

Site's response

Thank you Julie. The disabled/family room is available for anyone to use.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

Can walk to Blakeney along a road (although it's not too busy). Then some really nice walks along the coast and into Cley. Nice small site, very homely. The owners of the campsite were lovely. They were really friendly and allowed us to put our ice packs in their freezers. All the other campers were also friendly. The toilet block was exceptionally well cleaned. I believe there were only 3 toilets however that didn't pose a problem and they were the cleanest campsite toilets I have ever used. Same for the showers. It is worth bearing in mind that you feel quite exposed in the wind but that is the same with most campsites. Also, if you camp on the side where there is the road, the cars are quite loud.

Site's response

Thank you for your kind comments India.

Nice campsite but noisy road

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

Nice simple campsite with good facilities. Friendly owner. Not very big space which we find is always better for us (doesn’t attract the wrong crowds). Good location to visit the northern Norfolk coast. Only down side was that the road next to the field can be pretty busy/noisy.

Site's response

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review Veronique. There has been more traffic on the road this summer, although it does tend to quieten down at night.

Decent quiet site.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2021

Well located just back from the coast. It's ideal for coastal and inland exploring. If you don't mind a wee walk, there's the coastal bus service available, so no need to use a car very much. A good quiet site with the basics but none of the unnecessary 'frills' of many of the larger campsites.

Site's response

Glad you enjoyed your stay Simon.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2021

Great small site, spotless facilities cleaned tirelessly by the lovely lady, we were welcomed personally, the electric hookup grass pitch was a good size and flat. We were able to walk into Blakeney village and to the sea, ideal position for us.

Site's response

Glad you enjoyed your stay at the campsite and were able to explore the beautiful area around Blakeney.
