It's a very nice site. Very quiet and the showers/toilets were clean and tidy. Great location - very close to the beach, friendly hosts and pet friendly. We will be booking another visit, maybe longer than this visit.

The Location couldn't be better. It was a quiet local campsite with fire pits which were free to borrow. The toilets were clean and had a good amount of showers for campsite size. Wi-Fi was available, but the warden didn't get my text messages asking for password. Twice. No hot running water in the communal wash areas. This was needed as could not wash up well after cooking. Quite poor. Mats in showers would have been nice to keep off wet floor.

Smelly chickens

An okay weekend away, slightly further out from Hunstanton than we thought. Facilities were clean. However, as we were near the chickens in the house, the area we were pitched smelt quite badly. Our neighbouring tents also agreed and it got a little annoying by the end of the weekend :( However, the area around was lovely and hosts seemed nice. If you're pitched away from the chickens, you should be all good.

Our free-ranging chickens are great fun, in the heat, their accommodation can get a little smelly, and this adds to the farm stay feel that we have here. With views out over the marshes, and being just 2 minutes from the beach, our campsite is in the perfect location for exploring the Norfolk Coast. We should love to see you again soon here by the beach, mention the chickens and we will pitch you far over the other side :)

Great family campsite, magical place, very quiet. It was like going back 25 years ago, only the price seemed a little bit on the high side - over £40 for 2 people for one evening. Would have been good to have earlier time to pitch tent up, rather than 5pm, but being able to leave at 11am is good. The campsite owner was really friendly and helpful.

Great location, met immediately by Nigel, who was friendly, warm and helpful. Got one of the best pitches on the site. 3 minute walk to the beach, in easy walking distance of Hunstanton. Showers were good. Fire pits were awesome. Pitch perfect. We will definitely return!

Close to the beach and lovely walks. Area around shower block is a bit of a building site with rubble and broken tiles, doesn't look finished. No hot water for hand washing or dish washing. Just a hole for the plughole that I nearly lost my shower gel down. I raised the issue with staff that there was no hot water for hand washing or dish washing. He said someone would look into it. 24 hours later, still no hot water...

You reported an issue with hot water to wash hands in toilet block and the issue was resolved after calling in the plumber and within 36 hours. We do have hot water in a different location as well, there are 4 operational electric showers on 24 hours a day plus 6 gas fired showers in the campsite.

The pros were it's close to the beach, great sunsets, and lots of showers. The cons... whilst we were there, the main path had smashed glass all the way up it which was worrying for children. Parts of the site seemed like a building site, with lots of unfinished work all around. This may sound hilarious, but the most aggressive chickens I've ever encountered run loose around the site. One attacked my two year old daughter unprovoked one day, and they constantly harassed us and stole food from our lit BBQ when turning away for even a second. By our second day, we finally discovered the only way to get rid of them was to throw water in their direction. No hot water for washing up, or in the bathrooms. Only showers had heated water. Advertised WiFi didn't work (or, at least, had no signal in the camping field where we stayed). Only two male and two female toilets. One of the men's urinals was disconnected from the water pipe, so seemed like it wasn't being cleaned. One of the men's cubicles had no lock. Confusing signage. Despite booking at 'Hunstanton Camping & Glamping', there's no sign at the site with this name on. The only sign showed 'Norfolk Coast B&B', or something like this. The campsite isn't even in Hunstanton at all, but Heacham, a couple of miles further up the road. And confusing communication. I received a text from the owner before arriving, saying save the number and it's his direct phone. Received no reply after texting it back, and when calling it, found it wouldn't connect at all (it's actually an automated number which you can't contact). Felt it was a very high price, for the very basic and facilities provided. Feel very ripped off after spending a couple of nights there.

Sorry you didn't find our campsite to your liking The text you received should have included a google map to locate us, and I can't explain why it did not connect you to my mobile, sorry. Most customers are pleased that we are not located in the middle of Hunstanton or any built up area, we are on the boundary of a village looking out towards "wild Ken Hill". If you were looking for a town centre campsite, that's not what we offer, sorry. Sorry, you only found the 2 toilets in the men's area and 3 toilets in the lady's area and missed the other 6 toilets in the second block, how many toilets were you hoping for ? I trust you found them to be clean? We haven't had any issues with the WIFI and it had been upgraded when you stayed, it's a service supplied through Facebook so I'm wondering if you engaged your Facebook profile? I do apologise regarding the chickens. If you had said I would have locked them away, however, when you stayed we were quiet with only a couple of other vans. It's best to never trust an animal with a 2-year-old child, all animals and poultry can react in unexpected ways. With regards to our price, all payments are in advance with our description of what we are stated clearly. It seems to me you were looking for a town centre holiday park but that is not how we describe ourselves. Nigel.

We had another amazing stay this weekend. Couldn't fault anything. Perfect location next to the beach. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean and well kept. Nigel very friendly came round to check on us each evening but not in an interfering way. Just our kind of stay for us and our 3 dogs.

Really nice park, close to the beach, very clean and well organised. Can be a little noisy during the day from the parties in the neighbouring caravan park and from the cars driving by. The ducks living on the premises are hilarious :)

First overnight trip in our camper

This was our first overnight stay in our recently purchased/converted camper. We have 3 dogs and we have found that some sites only accept 2 per pitch so we were delighted to find that Norfolk Coast B&B and Camping allowed us to stay with all 3 of them. And what a perfect place for dogs and dog lovers - just a few minutes from a super dog friendly beach and lots of lovely walks. The camp was not very busy which made it perfect for us, being nervous about how the dogs would behave on their first trip, but they did us proud. Toilets, showers & washing facilities were exceptionally clean and it looked like new toilets were being prepared in the field where our camper was (although the ones available were not to far away anyway). Local shop which sells absolutely everything just five minutes away. We took a fire pit and wood with us but they are provided by the vendors if required and some of the other campers were doing so. We will definitely be returning soon and will recommend it to our friends & family.

The campsite is ideally located for exploring the Norfolk coast, the coast path runs just behind the site and the beach is just a 2 minute walk away. The facilities onsite are basic, well maintained and clean. The views over the countryside are vast and open, the sunset was amazing over the sea and you won't believe how clear and starry the skies are. Hunstanton is close by, a great town for a wander, nice shops and lots of restaurants. The owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, they told us to check out Wild Ken Hill, I can't recommend this enough it was a beautiful spot with an abundance of wildlife. Great site, great location, would highly recommend.

We found the owner Nigel very helpful. The campsite was clean and nicely laid out. Although there is a large holiday park across the road on the other side that looked over fields. Only a few 100 yards to the beach. Clean toilet facility. Lovely walks
