About Sycamore Cottage and Glamping Pods
Sycamore Cottage and Glamping Pods is a family-run, tranquil and friendly small scale site with a personal touch. Situated on a Northumberland farm, there are lots of friendly animals, and your dedicated hosts will welcome you personally. The glampsite is ideally situated for Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Water, the Northumberland National Park and the Northumberland Coast - as well as local towns and villages. Each pod is full of luxury, from underfloor heating to dishwashers in the spacious pods. Both are kitted out with en suite facilities, kitchens, TVs and super comfortable beds. Perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors lifestyle without losing foregoing home comforts. Both Cedar and Willow sleep a max of two adults, while Willow can accommodate two adults and two children thanks to comfy sofa beds. Cedar is spacious enough for two adults and four children, with a set of bunk beds to ensure little ones are tucked in, plus sofa beds. Pods even feature a skylight so that you can stargaze directly from your bed! With views over Hadrian's wall, amazing sunrises and sunsets and an opportunity to stargaze in magical Dark Skies on a clear night, guests will leave feeling rejuvenated and fully refreshed!

Selected for its spacious, airy feel this luxury pod has high quality bedding and towels, underfloor heating and additional insulation keeping you warm. Sleeps 6 with a double bed, a bunk and a sofa bed. With ensuite. Max of two adults per pod.
The Black Hut
Max 4 people
Sleeping up to two adults and two children over 7 with a kingsize bed and two single roll out beds. Ensuite shower room, kitchen, tv and welcome pack. Outside a log burning stove, seating and roll top bath. Sorry, no pets.

Things to do on site and in the Hexham area
There is some fantastic stargazing to be done on-site (binoculars are useful!) and lovely walks and cycling routes from your pod door.
Cook up something inspiring in the BBQ hut, or browse some of the nearby towns and villages for dining out options. For the more adventurous, there are family-friendly Go Ape courses and outdoor activities nearby.
Hexham, Corbridge and Bellingham, Northumberland National Park and Hadrian's Wall for history and hiking are all within a few miles.
Further afield visit visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Cragside, the Northumberland coastline, Beamish open air museum or Wallington.
