About GlamPods Northumberland
The cluster of timber pods at GlamPods are genuinely luxurious and spacious enough for a small family. Whether you fancy a long weekend getaway, or a full week's holiday away from life's hustle and bustle, this is glamping to suit. Each has thick insulation to keep you warm in the winter chill and cool in the summer heat with underfloor heating and temperature control. A glass of wine from the fridge, a bowl of nibbles and a star-filled sky to view from your pod while supper cooks on your brazier and you sit and eat at your own private seating area - does life get any better than this? Inside is a comfortable sofa that converts into a kingsize bed, a double bed at the back of the pod (many with single bed above it too), all made up for your comfort. Outside at the front of your pod, there's a covered porch area and a picnic table with space to cook on your brazier and toast marshmallows. Each en-suite pod includes the luxury of underfloor heating, ready made beds, a TV with Freeview, soft towels, a hairdryer and some complimentary toiletries. There is a kitchen area with fridge, microwave and kettle as well as crockery and cutlery. Each pod also has a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and more. Soap and sanitiser are also supplied. Each pod has two parking spaces in a private car park with a seating and play area.

There are self contained facilities inside the three private pods, plus a private car park and Lapland BBQ hut supplied.
A village shop and other amenities are two miles away, including the William de Percy Inn. It's also a five minute drive to the Redesdale Arms and the Le Petit Chateau restaurant. Horse riding is available nearby.

The Wren pod is fully equipped and offers a personal veranda and BBQ area. Inside is a TV and built in sound system, plus a kitchen area and shower room. Sleeps four on a double bed and sofa bed with bedding provided.
2 x Glamping Pods (5 Person)
Max 5 people
The Owl and Curlew pods are fully equipped and offer a veranda and BBQ area. Inside each is a television and built in sound system, plus a kitchen area and shower room. Sleeps five on a double bed, sofa bed and single bed above it. Bedding supplied.

Things to do on site and in the Otterburn area
Set in the wild Northumberland National Park you're close to Kielder Waterside Park where amazing adventures await from zipwires and mountain biking to the Bird of Prey Centre and swimming. And, of course, the Christmas magic at Winter Wonderland.
Step into the shoes of Harry Potter as you wander the grounds at Alnwick Castle - see where Harry first rode his broom or admire some of the locales used for 'Downton Abbey'.
Northumberland is an amazing county from coast to country - so much to see and do, all with a hint of wildness! It is great for hillwalking and mountain biking or just rambling the beautiful paths of Redesdale.
There is a well-equipped visitor information pack in the pods with all the details you need. You won't want to miss stargazing at Britain's top Dark Skies Park or fishing in the Tyne.
The site do amazing Dark Sky packages with their very own science presenter Liam from the comfort of your pod. Or for a quirky night in perhaps enjoy a Dark Sky presentation in the onsite Lapland BBQ Hut complete with reindeer skins and fleecy blankets.
