We had a lovely time at Ewes Water. Weather was fabulous. Staff very friendly. We had quite a contrast as there were only 3 of us there when we arrived but over the weekend 13 more people arrived. Shower block was immaculate, although a long way to walk for me as I have mobility issues. I had to use my buggy or we drove round.

A first-class site, kept in a tidy and clean condition. The Warden Michael is a credit to the site, nothing is too much trouble to him. Great site for dogs as there are loads of walks around.

Lovely site, with good facilities and lovely people. As luck would have it, there was the Langholm 7's Rugby tournament on when we were here. We had free entry as the site is part of the Rugby club. We had a great day out watching the rugby and meeting loads of nice people. We will for sure return.

Great site. The toilet/shower/washing facilities are excellent. Very clean. The site itself is well spaced and clean. It is on a rugby club. The location is great for walking and road cycling. The site rep is very knowledgeable about the area and places of interest.

I really loved camping here. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I stayed an extra night. The facilities are spotless and the folks that run the site are very friendly. I highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back.

What a lovely little site for a stopover. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Beautiful setting and pristine facilities, obviously well looked after. Highly recommend. Adjacent to Langholm rugby club, so that could provide some entertainment during the season.

Still a great wee site. The upgraded toilet block is fantastic with the best showers ever. Just a shame about the weather.

Fantastic site, situated within easy walking distance of Langholm town. Mr Bell the warden could not do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Great site for dogs with plenty of walks nearby.

This was a lovely site, although when we stayed, there was a disco on in the Rugby Club and to get to the washrooms, you had to walk past quite a few party goers which my partner found a bit intimidating. The disco did however stop at 11pm and the site was quiet after that. The shower block is great, new, clean and powerful showers. Lovely surroundings (when there's no disco on) and convenient for the local village.

No complaints. Friendly and relaxed. Happy to give my money to a rugby club that isn't trying to rip you off like most other sites now. Just a pity I wasn't there on a Saturday to watch the game and have a few pints in the clubhouse.

Great site to stay in the Scottish Borders, with a nice walk into Langholm with all services you need. Friendly pubs, shops and a couple of takeaways & coffee shops. The newly refurbished toilet block is amazing with hot showers and all the facilities you need. Lovely friendly staff, especially Michael with his chats about the Muckle Toon. Well done to all staff who keep this site looking tidy and always on hand if you require any assistance 👏👏 Looking forward to visiting and staying in the future months.

Fantastic little site on the A7. Site was very well kept, all of the staff we met were lovely. Newly refurbished amenity block with good, powerful hot showers, dish wash area and washing machine. Some of the places we visited - Gilnockie Tower, Melrose Abbey, Annadale Distilley and Caerlaverock Castle. We had the best breakfast at the Whitshiels Cafe, just outside the site.

Had a lovely few days here. Although the weather wasn't very kind (wind and rain), the campsite has great drainage. Very peaceful and a pretty spot.

An absolute gem of a campsite. Very well priced at £15 for electric hook up, showers and toilets, which were very clean. Would recommend without hesitation. All run by volunteers and an easy walk to the town pub. Thank you for a really good stay, despite the rain, we loved it.

What a wee gem of a find. Roomy pitches in great condition. We had a 240v power on our first night and was absolutely no problem to move to another pitch. Toilet and shower block was fine. A really hot, powerful shower, if just a wee bit cramped, but we're told it's due for a revamp over the winter. Great location, just a 10min walk into Langholm, where there's everything you'd need for a short break.

Just returned home after a 3 night stay. The site is run by volunteers from the rugby club and is a credit to them. The pitches are well maintained and the grass kept short, you can tell they take pride in the campsite. We received a text the day before allocating our pitch number and giving us lots of information so we didn't have to hang about when we got there, we could go straight to our pitch and set up. The warden came to say hello later in the day and collect our fee, a really nice chap who gave us lots of local information. The toilets and showers, although a bit dated, were spotlessly clean and always had plenty of hot water. We did some nice walks from the site, it's a great location to explore from. The village is only 10 mins walk if you need supplies (Londis and Co-op) and there's a nice café just outside the site entrance with home cooked food at a reasonable price. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back, we couldn't fault it

Very good for the price per night. Would stay there again. Booking system works well. Text sent before arrival tells you all you need to know. Plenty of space to exercise and walk the dog (around the perimeters of the rugby pitches). Not far to walk into town. A short stretch along the A7 but pavement all the way. Some nice touches like wildflower beds planted around the site so it feels like a dedicated site and separated from the rugby side of the grounds.
