This friendly site is a mere 18 minutes in the car from the central roundabout of the A75 at Newton Stewart. Pitches are set on grass and are both open and level, with excellent drainage. You can relax in a field, with charming views of the bay and rolling hills - it's a far cry from the bustle of cities. The site includes 20 electric hook-ups for its grass pitches, too. A pair of two and three bedroom holiday caravans are perfect for those looking for a little more comfort, each fully furnished.

Site facilities include free hot showers, toilets and a dishwashing area with free hot water. There is also a laundry area with two washing machines, a dryer (machines are coin operated) and a freezer for ice packs. Mobile phone signal is excellent and guests have the use of an outdoor play area with swings, an indoor playroom and a lounge with books, a pool table, DVDs and a TV.
Wigtown is five miles from site and offers shops, cafes and pubs.
