About Sands of Luce Holiday Park
Just metres from a sandy beach that stretches over 7 miles, pitches here are the perfect beach getaway. There are a mix of lovely sea view pitches and sheltered rear view spots - all modern, level and well maintained. For tent campers, it's a chance to step away from the hassle of the outside world and get back to nature on grass, while tourers up to a max. of 7.5m are treated to fully serviced hardstanding pitches right by the coast. A maximum of two dogs are welcome to join you.
Open from 1 March to 31 October
Site facilities include a renovated wash block with dedicated accessibility and family washrooms. The park has direct beach access and The Lighthouse Bar on site offers quality food, live music, activities and special events.
The village of Sandhead is half a mile away and includes a small shop. In Stranraer, 7 miles away, there are big supermarkets.

Things to do on site and in the Stranraer area
In the summer season there are host of enticing activities on site, which ensure no one gets bored during the holidays. The Lighthouse Bar hosts dance sessions, or the family might be out on the beach foraging for tasty and free morsels on a wild food workshop.
If a breeze gets up, grab your kite and make the most of it! Or if the sun shines, the beach has a neverending list of incredible activities. You can have a go at kayaking, wind surfing, paddle boarding or even the unique option of blo-karts.
Hop in the car and you'll be pulling up at the Galloway Forest within less than an hour. Or, a shorter drive will take you to pretty Stranraer and Loch Ryan.
