The park is right by the East Lothian beach, allowing visitors to enjoy the sand dunes, rock pools filled with wildlife, and fishing opportunities. Additionally, guests can stroll along the John Muir Way and enjoy the views. Don't miss the breathtaking sunrises in the mornings!
About Thorntonloch Caravan Park
Here kids are encouraged to be kids, and so are the adults. You're just moments from the beach and access is easy thanks to good connections with the A1. The park's 10 hardstanding and grass touring pitches, all offer electric hook-up (6-Amp) and tempting sea views. Tent campers are also welcome on six grass tent pitches, without electric.
Open from 1 March to 31 October
Site facilities include two free toilet/shower blocks, free hot water and laundry facilities available. There are two basic games rooms and a book/CD/DVD/puzzle swap-shop.

Site rules and policies
A copy of the site's simple rules will be handed out on arrival. All dogs must be on a lead whilst on the site.
Occupancy must not exceed that permitted by the make of vehicle/van, Please keep your speed to 5mph.
Things to do on site and in the Dunbar area
The site has a social club, The Beach Barn, which offers entertainment on a Saturday evening for all. During the holidays there are also plenty of fun and interactive children's events to keep little ones busy.
Get on the beach, explore, build a sandcastle, surf, cycle, walk and most importantly relax at this beachside spot. You can fish nearby for bass, cod and mackerel and the is a bike path that will take you over to Dunbar for a fun day out.
