About the site

The park's pitches and accommodation have views out to sea and across to the Isle of May, so you'll always wake up to great scenery. It's an ideal base for this beautiful part of Scotland with the fishing village of Crail close by. Glamping also offers sea views and there are a host of choices, from pretty dog friendly beach huts to stylish geodesic domes, all with fire pits. Domes are off grid and, if you choose a deluxe dome, it will come with the ultimate treat - a private wood fire hot tub. The same is true of the deluxe beach huts, which also have ensuite facilities. Looking for something even more special? Stay in one of the fully equipped Hideouts, with a private hot tub, a lovely patio with furnishings and ensuite facilities inside. There is a starter supply of wood supplied for wood burners and hot tubs inside - with more available to buy from reception. Pets are welcome in the standard beach huts and in the Deluxe Beach Hut Seahaar, but sorry they cannot stay in the other glamping accommodation.

Sauchope Links Park is open all year round.

Glamping Cabin - Deluxe Ensuite Beach Hut with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly)Mar 2025

Great location, friendly staff, peaceful and litter free. Great views of the sea from the Lodge. Inside was aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but uncomfortable on the body. The sofa and bed was very hard and not relaxing. Manageable for 1 or 2 nights but after a long day walking, a comfy bed or seat would have been better. Hot tub was fab, had to chase up for the bag of logs that came free. But was lovely to sit and relax in. Overall a nice enough stay, would recommend.

Thanks for making my stay in Crail, it was great! You're a friendly and helpful bunch and the beach hut was pretty luxurious with its little kitchen area and heaters. I loved it!

Things to do on site and in the Crail area

Staying by the coast means there is plenty of fascinating rocky shoreline to discover, alongside those all important sandy beaches for sunny days. Take a coastal stroll, feel the wind in your hair and you may even glimpse dolphins in the waves.

If you'd rather be in the water and getting active, there's kitesurfing, canoeing and kayaking to keep you busy.

Spend some time by Crail's harbour and then pop in for a pint or a meal so that you can try some of the local flavours.

This is something of a golf hot spot and it certainly has world class facilities to improve your game. As if that wasn't enough, you can also make a real entrance with a 4x4 drive or rev it up on a trike tour of the area.
